Much as I disagree with her SC decisions, she is obviously correct that the current nominee is not being treated in the same way as most former nominees have been treated.

He's being treated VERY much like Clarence Thomas was treated, complete with the allegations of being a sexual creep.

She's still coherent but physically much deteriorated.

I don't think she can hang in there much longer. After the Democrats all-out attempt to stop the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh has failed, how much more desperate and deranged are they going to become when President Trump nominates her successor?

A responsible public servant with any integrity should have the good sense to know when to retire. She seems to be “hanging on in quiet desperation”.

Believe me, if she thought about retiring the left would kill her, bring out Andrew McCarthy and do weekend at Bernies for the Supreme Court...

“Completely coherent but she is physically old.”

The word you are looking for is frail

She’s in better mental condition than Pelosi.

The problem is that she falls asleep during hearings. That could endanger some of the votes.

Putting her on the court today is not the issue. You seem to think physical disability should automatically throw a person out of an intellectual job. I disagree.

“Aging is too often terribly cruel. “

It’s not the aging...it’s the ugliness that accompanies liberal/democrat/socialist/communist ideaology.

I don’t like her approach to cases but I concur that while she is in terrible shape physically, her mind is still there and she has a point - she was confirmed 96-3 back when there was still some opinion that presidents had the right to put their nominees on the Court, unless you had a crook like Abe Fortas or Swimmer Kennedy, of all people, was able to raise cain about Bork’s background. The current process is a circus, the Dems have no desire to give the President the slightest leeway and in contrast, you have a real old bat, Feinstein, whose mind apparently separated from her body years ago, who tries to block Kavanagh at the last minute with some “he and his buds locked me in a bedroom but I got out” letter.

Mark Twain called old age a “wonton insult”.

Only if you're Chinese.

I completely disagree with her views, but she was a beautiful woman and if you watch the video she’s absolutely right.

To hide the claws.

If RBG goes when DJT is there with a GOP Senate it will take the military to maintain any semblance of order bank it. No judiciary appointment should be this important. The founding fathers were brilliant but they dropped the ball when they didn’t check and balance the SC. 5 unelected people with lifetime appointments should not be able to overrule the will of hundreds of millions without some recourse.

If you think the Dems. and the Media went crazy over trump’s nomination of Kavenaugh, just wait and see what they do if he has to nominate a replacement for Ginsburg.

If we hold the Senate, I see Thomas stepping down so Trump can appoint a young replacement. The Senate Democrats will erupt in outrage over that nominee too. By the time it's RGB's replacement's turn, the public will be tired of it all.

That's what I think Trump's plan is.
