Just to be clear about that picture. Baltimore is beating Buffalo pretty badly in Buffalo and it is towards the end of the third quarter. In the best of times I would have already been on the highway, listening to the game on radio.

What I really like about that gif is the one guy toward the back who isn’t moving at all. No fun for him!

I guess these kneelers are to stupid to realize that the US Flag is on the back of every helmet that they wear.

I have an older friend who has maintained a box in the Superdome for years - he stopped it last year and now goes around to Ole Miss and other college games to get his football fix...

Seems counter-productive for Gateway to use misleading evidence to make a point.

Not if your true goal is selling "hits."

Televise NCAA football games on Sunday. Win Win. If the pro’s like competition, let’s have some.

my estimate is that attendance at home ravens games has dwindled to about 50k - about 70% of capacity. Maybe a little less.
last year’s disgraceful behavior in London coupled with the ridiculous amount of $ required to take your kid to a football game killed it for a lot of fans - including me.
I can’t say that I care enough to even hope the league fails.
It has, imho, devolved to the level of arena football - the product has
deteriorated to a level of watchability that - speaking for myself - is on par
with the NBA - unwatchable.

Funny how people are. I am a total function over form guy. Cable management usually just slows you down and makes future changes take longer. You might freak out at my house. More people seem to be like you in this regard though. I endure many comments re my wires and cabling. I do label all my speaker wiring at the back of my receiver though.

That’s great. This is in liberal Maryland. When I moved here, I discovered that football was the state religion. I’m football agnostic. I just don’t care either way but it makes me glad to see this.

I’m probably one of five people in the region without a Ravens jersey. But, I see very few people wearing them these days.

[But, I see very few people wearing them these days.]

Good to hear. I was in the grocery store this weekend. The usual “NFL madness” display of chips, etc. was about 3 feet by 2 feet.

Often it was 8-10 feet by 4 feet or so in most of them. I actually was in 2 grocery stores and a Wal-Mart. None of them had the ridiculous big “NFL madness” displays. Used to be a wall you had to walk around.

Sadly, Americans will soon forget just like they did after 9/11 and electing a muzzy. The NFL is hoping to outlast short memories and get the stadiums full again.

Hopefully we can get Rush on board with Lacrosse! And he lives in an area with a lot of good high school teams . . .

The 'after' pictured there is excellent, but as my 'man cave' has block walls, I'm content with having them ziptied into a single (tight&plumb!) bundle, a la an industrial chic look.

So maybe this ocd thing ain't incurable after all !   :-)

“So many good shows to watch.
Amazon Prime.... Bosch.. Harry Bosch comes to life.”

Our kid installed Netflix on our tube...been watching “Longmire” and other series. I’m 67 and “Highway To Heaven” (Michael Landon) still brings a tear to my eye.
