Nellie Ohr started working for Glenn Simpson (Fusion GPS) in/around October or November of 2015. Nellie Ohr had “contractor access” to the FISA database (NSA and FBI) as a result of her prior and ongoing clearance relationship with the CIA and open source research group.”

She was one of the contractors accessing the information on the Trump campaign and the Trump presidency. She was bringing the information to create the fraudulent dossier that the Clinton operatives compiled and Steele put his name on.

The Brilliant Sundance claims Nellie Ohr got a ham radio license in order to communicate nefarious things without leaving a paper trail...except the first thing she does iS CREATE a paper trail by obtaining a license from the federal government!

This argument is as absurb as a terrorist obtaining a Federal Firearms License in order to make pipe bombs.

Sundance does some good analysis but he is also full of shit sometimes, like this, where he cannot differentiate coincidence from causation. Many people from all kinds of backgrounds, ages, and ‘genders’ become ham radio operators, for example the Managing Editor of QST magazine, published by the US amateur radio organization, is a young female ham. People with a linguistics background have long been attracted to the hobby, as have those with diverse interests including technology.

If I wanted to communicate clandestinely, I would just go buy a radio via eBay, Craigslist, or a dealer and use it surreptitiously. There is no requirement to have a license to own radio equipment nor does anyone check. It has always been a self-policing hobby and those who operate as pirates or bootleggers do so outside the law.

The first thing a would-be spy would NOT do is apply for a licence from the FCC that any bozo could discover with a single internet search.
