The End of Economic Man: The Origins of Totalitarianism by Peter Drucker does a good job of linking how destruction of property rights in the name of the people enables destruction of individual rights.
Yep. The only differences were:
The fascists were smart enough to leave the existing managers in place rather than parachuting in a bunch of party flunkies to try to run the company. The company under fascism though very much existed to serve the interests of the state. If it did not do so, it would be seized and the managers arrested.

17. We demand a land reform in accordance with our national requirements, and the enactment of a law to confiscate from the owners without compensation any land needed for the common purpose. The abolition of ground rents, and the prohibition of all speculation in land. - Adolf Hitler
Hitler was named “Man of the Year” in 1938 by Time Magazine. They noted Hitler’s anti-capitalistic economic policies:
