Energized against Donald Trump, Democrats reach +14 in the midterms
ABC ^ | 4sep18 | Gary Langer

With their supporters energized in opposition to Donald Trump, Democrats hold their widest advantage in midterm election vote preferences since 2006, when they seized control of both houses of Congress.

Rebounding from a tighter contest in the spring, Democratic House candidates now lead their Republican opponents nationally by 52-38 percent among registered voters in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll – a lead that holds up across a range of likely voter models.

Front page news on Drudge Report.

I think all polls are nonsense.

However, this election is critically important. The fact remains that Democrats have never, NEVER been more worked up, more frenzied, and more lunatic than ever. If they win the House, they will provide all sorts of trouble for our President. Not to mention go after Conservatives and try to kill us.

Do NOT ignore the crazy axe murder down the street.

+14 D is a number strikingly at odds with every other number and trend out there. Source is garbage.

.. Democrats have never, NEVER been more worked up, more frenzied, and more lunatic than ever

And neither have they ever alienated a larger portion of their traditional base.

No, not they didn’t read +14 or anything like it.

Look at the turnouts in FL, TX, and AZ. We beat the D turnout by a freakin’ 140,000 in a primary. There aren’t enough indies to haul Enema over the top in two months, let alone Ds.

Rs have 150,000 registration edge in AZ.

The lefties are juicing the polls with D+13 samples now to try to forestall an absolute crushing defeat.

They know they will lose big in the Senate: right now I have the GOP gaining NET 4-6, but it could easily swing all the way to 8 or 9, breaking the 60 mark. The appointment of Jon Kyl also adds another conservative, no-nonsense vote in the Senate.

So all they have is the House, which is very, very difficult to poll (too expensive for House candidates) and which is based on extremely local issues. I have the House a tossup, and it could end up with Ds holding a 5-10 seat majority or even Rs expanding their majority by 2-4 seats. Up in the air.

The bigger news is that Drudge is now recycling obvious, and common enough as to be rightfully labeled “hackneyed”, media lies into his own big headline front page stories.

If he hadn’t jumped the shark for you yet this should wake you up. If you’re rousable...

“I think all polls are nonsense. “

If they aren’t, respondents should make them so by deliberately lying to the pollsters.

Well, that’s great. They don’t even need to try. They can sit back, have a drink, and watch the votes roll in.

Easy peasy! Can’t lose! Just like President Hillary did in 2016—rolled to any easy victory like a fat dude on a hambeast scooter at Wal-mart.

Races are district by district.
This is a national poll.
I would not give it any weight.

I hope you’re correct. Remember though, regardless of registration TURNOUT is clearly the key. Oh yea, and fraud/illegals.

I think all polls are nonsense.

Back in the days when everyone had a landline phone it was much easier to produce an accurate poll. These days I am afraid many pollsters have found an alternative way of producing value for a customer that is far easier to pull off.

Good advice about the liberal loon down the street. Keep your powder dry. They tried to tell Rand Paul that, I expect.

BS poll

This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Aug. 26-29, 2018, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 1,003 adults. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.6 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 33-25-37 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents.

So...

a D+8 poll
landline and cellular calls, but
Aug 26-29...when MANY people are on their Labor Day vacations...who do you think is still home on Labor Day weekend?

and...

poll was done in English and SPANISH (no bias here) /s

Bogus level is high...repeat...Bogus level is high
