Apparently Pankaj Mishra is another of the New York Times vicious white-hating journalists. Maybe they should change their motto to “death to the white race” so that it is clear what they are all about.
I don’t see them talking about race identity ideology as it overtly appears among too many blacks. But they sure seem to think not buying the PC version of the race identity crap the Left peddles is somehow being bigoted.

The left still doesn’t get it. What people look like isn’t the problem. The problem is what potential immigrants believe and who they will listen to when times get tough. Do they favor communism and perpetual welfare dependency? Will they resist the natural instinct to vote as racial/religious blocs against the people who are already here? The left can call it fear if they want, but the existing inhabitants of this country have a right to ask these questions.
The Trump Derangement Meltdown appears to really be accelerating today.
There are a few principles that lead to a good, happy productive life. And a few that lead to the freedom to be the architect of that life. They are available to anyone regardless of your ethnic background. Some cultures obviously embody and encourage these principles better or more completely than do others, you may even come from a culture that denies these principles such that you were never taught them. But they are there and anyone can choose them.
People who hate these principles seek to attach them to a skin color as a way of driving a wedge against them, telling people that choosing them makes them traitors to their race. These people are profoundly evil.
All humanity are settlers.
It’s what we do.
We explore and settle, explore further, settle further and so on and so forth. Superficial things like skin color doesn’t matter. It’s a human trait.
And whiteness comes from the same gene giving some of us better Lactose tolerance.
