I can’t say I saw even one US-made car when I was in Europe.

Gasoline is very, very expensive there.

Not even rich Europeans normally drive big vehicles.

Most UK Band H (high-end) country house owners drive a modest size car. A few percent drive Range Rovers or vans.

Our big beasts have almost no market potential in Europe.

I’m sure the CO2 emission taxes are costly too.

The Chevrolet Spark and Sonic and Ford Fiesta will fit perfectly into the European market.

You see quite a few Jeep Cherokees in France, and European Ford sells tons of small cars all over Europe.

The situation is dynamic. With the EU market opening up US makers will offer vehicles compatible with the EU market. The Ford Mustang already complys with EU standards, for example.
