...a lot of people vote pretty selfishly, and they say, ‘What’s going to give me more money in my pockets?’

I know who does that.

The media is really showing its disrespect for the rule of law . No wonder there is such a disconnect between the media and Trump supporters.

So protecting a God given ACTUAL right is selfish? Well, add that to the list of being called Nazis, deplorables, racists, terrorists, bigots, etc..

I need to protect myself and my family from a rogue government backed by 5th columnists at PMSNBC and the rest of the MSM thugs.

Joe Goebels must be proud of them.

These stupid F-ing A-holes really think they have the right to make that judgement? Fine let me lay it out for them...

They, the morons on the left, do not believe that their 1-A rights should ever change and they are good with that.

Fine.

I and half the damn country believe our 2A rights should never change and if you try and take those 2A rights away, it will not turn out as you intend.

My very strong suggestion would be that you understand that the second amendment means what it says and that is that the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right.

SCOTUS agrees with this position so the left can sit on it and spin.

I, and a million other vets also have other positions that can be clearly demonstrated. Standing, prone, sitting, and kneeling.

I like many others practice our positions on a regular basis.

Myself and millions of other vets in this country, fought wars, and served for years to ensure that these buttheads have the right to spew this crap. We value 2A as much as we do 1A.

What makes them think that I, and/or we, have not and will not fight for all of our own constitutional rights as well?

I will remind the left that you do not have the power to change the constitution as the constitution itself mandates it must be done.

With the Trump court now in place and knowing that President Trump will have Kavanaugh on SCOTUS within a month, and will also appoint another who will replace the “sleeping lady”, there is no way in hell you are going to do significant damage to our 2A rights within the next 30 years.

I guess I can sum this up by saying, “screw you lefty, it ain’t ‘gun-na’ to happen”.

Constitution, Amendments, Rule of Law...MSNBC, we don't need them, nuttier and nuttier.

I'm selfish, because I want news outlets to just publish news and not editorialize and selfishly influence others with nutty ideas. News outlets are now nut outlets.

The Second Amendment is not a “law”, it’s not an “executive order”, nor is it just a rule...it’s a Constitutional Amendment.

It takes a big process to amend the Constitution. Trump, or Obama, or anyone else can do it alone.

Even if he wanted to, and could, Trump wouldn’t do it. He knows history. He knows that the first thing despots and dictators do is disarm the population. In a country founded on “in, for, and by, the people”, it would go against every principle we have.

The lefties, leaning more and more to socialism/communism everyday, know full well they’ll never implement it so long as Americans are armed.

Those against guns are fool and naive enough to think those beads and trinkets the government offers (cellphones and food stamps) are a solid guarantee.

Reagan said it best (paraphrasing) “a government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take everything you’ve got.”.

Americans don’t know how NOT to be free.

The democrat/socialist want a country where they can dictate who we are, what we believe, what we can own, what we can’t own, how we speak, and control religion.

They already try to do it daily, with “political correct” speech, persecuting Christians, abortion, land grabbing, and class envy/politics.

The 2A is not a law, it’s a right, and I don’t think you’d ever get what it takes to amend that away from Americans...’cause once you change that right, you still have to take away the guns...and THAT, my friend, is the hard part.

While we could find or do find the president’s Fake News' constant lying or lawlessness or reprehensible behavior morally unacceptable, a lot of people vote pretty selfishly, and they say, ‘What’s going to give me more money in my pockets?’ ” Projection doesn't get much purer than that.

Dear MSNBC,
1. We have the rights to keep and bear arms (without any infringement, licensing, permitting, or record-keeping by government)... REGARDLESS of what any constitution or law or court says or doesn’t say. We are Americans, read your history and political science

2. We expect our “legal” rights to be RESTORED now, to fully reflect our ACTUAL inalienable rights......(we do not expect our rights to “stay the same” ... no way!)

Of course our constitutional rights remain unchanged since the day they were written. The way to change them is via another constitutional amendment. If you can’t get enough support for that, then tough chit.

“..selfishly’ expect Second Amendment rights to ‘stay the same...”

Yes, MSNBC, we do. And millions of us will USE those Second Amendment rights to make SURE they stay the same, if the other side wants to dance.

That’s why we have them in the first place.

For THAT day.

Precisely. Good luck with that.

It’ll get real personal, real fast, for a lot of them on the Left.

Just sayin’....

“MSNBC: Voters ‘selfishly’ expect Second Amendment rights to ‘stay the same’”

They are wrong. I am a voter, and I do NOT expect my Second Amendment rights to stay the same. In fact, if they do, I’ll be pretty upset.

I expect that my (and everyone else’s) 2nd Amendment rights will be RESTORED to what they were before the 1934 NFA abomination was foisted on the American public, and also that the 1968 GCA abomination be repealed as unconstitutional.

My father could have (but regrettably did not) bought a Solothurn 20mm semi-auto cannon before the GCA (for $189!!!) and had it delivered by the USPS to our home...and no one can do this today. FYI, see this site - #11 http://americanshootingjournal.com/laughable-vintage-gun-ads/#v1jaagho

My grandfathers could have (but regrettably did not) bought a full auto Tommy Gun at a hardware store for about $100, complete with 50-round drum. No registration, no background check, no Chief LEO sign-off, no tax stamp...just cash and carry. No one can do that today.

I want back the rights that my father and grandfather had - and the same for everyone else. Rights are rights, across all time periods and internal borders...or they are not rights.

Screw having our rights stay the same, I want them EXPANDED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL.

For those reading this who are AK or SKS fans/owners, here’s an interesting round: https://www.sgammo.com/product/tula/100-round-box-762x39-8m3-124-grain-hollow-point-ammo-made-ulyanovsk-cartridge-works-ul0 Watch the video - this is genuine expanding hollow-point and fragmenting ammo...it won’t just zip through someone with a .30 cal. hole.

Those foreigners of so few generations of Americans just don’t understand. Even if they don’t want to be armed themselves, they should want their neighbors to be able to protect them.

Come to think of it, though, many of them do live in areas of the U.S. with very un-neighborly, unfriendly and un-American environments, like parts of the northeast, the west or some of the big cities administered by foreign minds. They live in the kinds of places where someone being pursued by dangerous criminals couldn’t get help by ringing a doorbell and begging for help. Residents would simply watch them being abducted or murdered. They wait, one by one, as they are picked off.

Well, yeah. Vote in the midterm elections this November for members of Congress who will support President Trump for more jobs and higher pay!
