Chicago Cardinal: Global Warming, Migrants Are ‘Bigger Agenda’ than Sex Abuse
Breitbart ^ | 28 Aug 2018 | Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D.

Cardinal Blase Cupich, the Archbishop of Chicago, has downplayed bombshell allegations that Pope Francis knowingly rehabilitated an abusive American cardinal, saying the pope has a “bigger agenda” to worry about, such as protecting the environment and migrants. In a television interview with NBC News, Cardinal Cupich commented on a recent 11-page statement by Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, former papal nuncio to the United States, that alleges a series of misdeeds by high-ranking Catholic prelates, including Pope Francis himself. “The pope has a bigger agenda. He’s gotta get on with other things, of talking about the environment and protecting migrants and carrying on the work of the Church,” Cardinal Cupich said.

The Archbishop’s annual appeal and the Peter’s pence collections may come up a bit light this year.

Well, strictly speaking, if Italians aren’t “Latino” who are?

He's not stupid, he's evil. His interest is not in proclaiming the Gospel or encouraging the practice of the Catholic Faith.

His interests, apparently, are Marxism and pederasty.

Leftists are leftists first, before anything else.

Who but a leftist would say that “gorebull worming” is a more pressing issue than predatory homosexual priests?

Certainly what was expected.

I know people say walk away. I know people who are. It’s time to take a stand against evil.

The Chicago Cardinals football team moved to St. Louis, before moving to Arizona.

The best way to address the migration crisis is to teach them how to turn their $#*+hole countries into something else. It CAN be done and the church can play a role, even a positive role, if it would.

A couple of generations ago, Costa Rica was as poor as every other country in Central America.

It certainly isn't rich now, but it is way better off because they listened to people teaching them how to build and grow rather than Marxists teaching them how to redistribute.

Dream on, pervo. In a couple of years there will be an earthquake in the Church as the arrests and trials start. Maybe sooner. It will be a wonderful spectacle seeing these sick predators who used to be calked Father and Bishop in the crowbar hotel.

Maybe they will find Jesus, finally.

Not just criminal charges. The class action lawyers are licking their chops

That’s not what the Bible says, especially the Gospels (Jesus: tie a millstone around their necks and throw them in the ocean) and the Epistles (Ephesians: there should not be even a hint of sexual immorality in Christians.)

They seem to forget about that Great Commission thing in their list of priorities — assuming they’ve ever read the New Testament in the first place.

We, of the Roman Catholic Curia, have an agenda. We will not be distracted from it just because children have suffered from our uniformed minions. We have bigger issues than the sins against the innocent.

Good luck with your post-life interview at the Throne, you may find that Dante was too kind about the circles of the Inferno!
