Last Tuesday, the Democrats and many of their mainstream media allies went into a state of jubilation at the thought that impeachment of President Donald Trump could be imminent in the wake of the court convictions of Paul Manafort and the guilty pleas of former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. However, CNN legal analyst Paul Callan tossed cold water on these celebrations with a few reality checks that they definitely won't be thrilled to hear.

It gets the base fired up, but as the general gets closer it becomes counter-productive.
Maxine Waters does not care about the law or any other reality.
It must pain CNN that even it’s own guests can’t buy into their detachment from reality.

Cohen = mostly nothing to do with Trump. And the whole Lanny Davis thing has fallen apart.

They are trying to keep their base “fired up” but when they can not deliver there will be an explosion. What form this explosion takes is unpredictable but what is predictable is that it will not be good for Democrats or our nation.
The Democrats’ problem comes from trying to be the Party of Special Interests. That coalition can only last for so long before the groups start conflicting with each other.

I think it was Mark Levin who pointed out that you cannot be impeached for actions you took, legal or otherwise, before you became President.
That gets you to Perjury, Obstruction of Justice and variation on Unsuitable for Office. Even if Colusion with the Russians was unlawful (it isn’t) and Trump actually did it (he didn’t) that all happened when he was running for office not tending to it.
Process crimes. If there was no investigation the crimes would never occurred.

True. But the explosion could be a race war (from those two wings of their black and brown extremists) for power against the Bernie Sanders socialist wing against the me-me-me-all abortion femeanist wing.
It locks in their platform for each group. But it means each group needs the 100% support of the other five to win the national elections.
And THAT means only 20% of the party’s base is ever fired up and enthusiastic about the one candidate who wins.
Continuing that logic, only a three-fer candidate can get more than one group enthusiastic: So they need a black, woman socialist with a Mexican-sounding name who can claim to be educated with homosexual links and patterns.
Which is why the national press corpse is promoting black women socialists with homosexual connections and a Mexican background who look good on television!
(Unfortunately, they can’t find any intelligent, qualified or competent black women socialists with homosexual connections and a Mexican background.)

One reason so many Blacks are joining the Walk Away movement is that they see they are being taken for granted and simply being used. They realize the illegal push by the Dems is pushing them aside.
The crazier the Dems/Leftists become, the more they show their true, ugly colors and normal, decent people don’t like what they’re seeing.
Everything the Left pushes eventually backfires on them.
