The only way that President Trump is going anywhere is if both houses of Congress screw him over. This midterm election is probably the most important in any of our lifetimes. President Trump knows it and is campaigning like no other President has in my memory. He works harder than any other president in my memory. This is a fight for the future of our country. The only way that the Democrats are going to win it will be through massive cheating.
You did! Do not doubt yourself. President Trump is the proof. Just realize, it is not President Trump LEADING us. It is us SUPPORTING President Trump.
I may be dinged for saying so, but I’m old and don’t care. I hope that Sessions is working behind the scenes to truly turn the DoJ back into a non-political arm of the government and is getting rid of the Clinton/Obama infestation. Getting rid of the lice may take several treatments....so I still have patience when it comes to Sessions. I hope he lives up to his nickname, the “Silent Executioner”.....

Those were the same people here on FR who were insisting that the Jill Stein recounts were going to rig the results for Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in Clinton's favor ... and the same Freepers who spent most of 2015 and 2016 insisting that Barack Obama was going to declare martial law and cancel the 2016 elections so he could be president for life.
I started losing a lot of interest here when it began competing with DU for its zany conspiracy theories.

They’ve been trying to screw him over since he first threw his hat in the ring. Mueller is going to issue an impeachment report to congress. A long laundry list of ‘crimes’ and ‘obstruction of justice’...this will give the rinos and neverTrumpers a fig leaf in which to impeach and they WILL.

We certainly don’t have those who give the police their orders on our side. I would suggest to you however that Donald Trump received far more votes from the rank and file officers than Hillary Clinton did.

You pose a very good question. Our society and system of government are perversions of what they were some decades ago. Just the example of a politicized prosecutor being able to form a highly partisan team of lawyers to assault an elected president is a great example of just how perverted we are.
I guess what I am suggesting is, to put it in business terms that would certainly be something Donald Trump would get in a second, creative destruction. In order to create something new there are times where you have to destroy what is currently standing on that spot. Otherwise, all you are doing is remodeling the failing, perverted thing that is there.
The movement that elected Donald Trump may need to come to grips with the fact that remodeling won’t work, won’t solve the perverse system that we have created over time. That maybe be need to organize differently and have different goals. The system is rejecting the people for its own purpose and survival. A peaceful revolution from the inside may well be rejected in kind. And so certainly then our tactics and battlefield must change. This is not a pleasant thought but we may soon find that the effort that elected Donald Trump to correct these perverse things that we see in our system might not succeed. We will probably find out in early November if there’s a chance. If not...we will have no choice but to find a different battlefield.
You had absolute, 100% faith that _bama would have willingly stepped down far before the campaign really ramped up? You were absolutely certain that after the results of the election were in, _bama wouldn't have declared martial law to postpone Trump taking office, or possibly even arresting him for whatever made-up reason?
Sessions is too stupid for all this. Him protecting the political witch hunt against the President, and perversely projecting DOJ’s corruption onto the President, makes Sessions stupid and evil.

Maybe Obama had a plan to douse Donald Trump with gasoline and set him on fire. Do you think Trump even remotely considered such a possibility when he met him a few days after the election?

Sessions does not enforce the law because of political considerations. unless he is being coerced with threats to his person or his loved ones. In either case he is spineless.
