Shock news: The Big Bang Theory will end in 2019.
Warner Bros. just announced the CBS mega-hit comedy will have its final episode next year.
The conclusion will mark the end of the longest-running multi-camera series in television history.
In a joint statement, Warner Bros. Television, CBS and Chuck Lorre Productions said, “We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past 12 seasons. We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”

I didn’t like it much for pretty much the same reason.
It just perpetuated the typical Hollywood stereotype of scientists & engineers.

I lost interest in it a long time ago, but it has certainly been a commercial success.
Is the the 3rd or 4th last season? I lost count.
I really liked it until Penny cut her hair. Ever since then they tried to make it more of a show that girls will like, and now it’s unwatchable.
As soon as the dude came out as a homo I stopped watching.
The stars are all rich so they can quit comfortably, like Seinfeld.

All of the characters will be making about a million per episode, IIRC.

Fun show with outstanding writing. It’s time for them to wrap it up, if not a little past time. It’s reliably liberal, like everything from Hollywood, but never really made a point of it.
