Trump was not first to that issue.
It was a Pennsylvania Democrat Operative * Hellary supporter named Berg who first raised the issue. (Wasn’t he once Pennsylvania’s Attorney General?). The some other picked up on it. Trump was a relative latecomer to that.

FISA warrants work both ways and the NSA scoops up everything. How many Freepers think the Trump DOJ has initiated their own FISA warrants against the deep state coup plotters?
Trump knows. However the gentleman’s agreements between the politically divided require that they have a voice in every aspect of the proceedings. Gridlock is the reason. Almost all in the Senate and Congressional committees are compromised financially - this lack of candor, e.g. being Financially Compromised is why TRUMP scares the hell out of them - collectively!

The problem is that PDJT does not have a justice department. It too is running loose , smashing furniture.
