Two Chicago police officers are in hot water Monday after a picture of them sleeping on the job went viral.
The photo showed two cops in a Chicago Police 6111 vehicle slumped over and snoozing. Both were wearing black bullet-proof vests.
The picture was posted Saturday and has been shared more than 20,000 times on Facebook, including by mayoral candidate Ja’Mal Green.
Green, who has been active in the Black Lives Matter movement, blamed the sleeping situation on mandatory overtime ordered by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

The rhetoric is misplaced.
Those officers are probably lucky to be alive...fortunate to have only been ‘shot’ with a camera.
I thought they didn’t want cops interfering in Black crime ? They can’t make up their minds.
If they woke up and stopped some crime, they’d be guilty of police brutality.
Then again, if they’re sleeping due to overtime/overworked, they’re getting great money for sawing zzzzzzzs
They want the cops to stop the killing without arresting anyone.

Read the Chicago cop’s blog (secondcitycop.blogspot.com) and the comments after his posts clearly show how demoralized Chicago cops are and that they go “fetaL” to protect themselves. Every time they try to do their jobs, they are crucified by the “community” and city officials. Chicago’s chief of police is a gutless boot-licker who never defends his officers.
What else are they supposed to do? They can’t actually confront criminals or interfere with thug life - but I repeat myself. Must be boring as hell. Might as well take a nap.
I don’t think think that the BLM guy cares what these cops are doing, one way or the other. He’s just using the story to embarrass Mayor Emanuel.
But as I noted earlier, I found it interesting that the BLM guy didn’t insult the two cops while he was at it. He could have gone for a two’fer, embarrass Emanuel and insult the police.
BLM guy isn’t going to insult the Sleeping Cops.....he wants their votes. He’s running for mayor against Dead Fish Emmanuel.
Toss an M-80 under whatever they’re sleeping in, then exit rapide...

Just for kicks (and because I can’t sleep), I took a look at the fundraising going on. As of mid-July:
Emanuel has raised $10,809,801.
BLM guy has raised $13,750.
BML guy had better step up the pace a bit.
It’s like that in many big city departments nowadays..It all political and they must kowcow to minorities, the sex deviates, local politicians, and every victim group out there.
Rahmbo has $11 mil ? He can pay ev’ry resident of Chicago about tree-fiddy.
Nature has wonderful feedback mechanisms. Let the killings continue for all I care.
