Three people were shot at a back-to-school peace picnic held at a playground in Chicago on Saturday night.
A fourth person was beaten up at the event that was held to promote peace and community.
The picnic, which took place at Seward Park on the city’s North Side, was off to a safe start, but onlookers say the mood quickly turned when a group of young men showed up and started fighting.
“It’s senseless and should have never happened,” event organizer Raymond Hatcher told reporters. “We were doing well. Everything was going swell and then a group of guys who were not associated with us, came to the event intoxicated.”

How can this happen? Doesn’t Chicago have strict gun laws? These animals weren’t identified, they must be those Amish gang members that terrorize the city.

Every time you point out that Chicago has strict gun laws the gun grabbers say that the guns come from outlying areas. But when you ask why those outlying areas don't have the mayhem that Chicago has they change the subject.

Having a picnic and talking about peace is cheap and easy. Telling the cops to come get your no-good thug of a son who has a stolen gun... not so cheap and easy.

Because they’ve so befouled their own neighborhoods that now even THEY can’t stand to live there, so they are moving into other neighborhoods so they can screw those up, as well.
