John Brennan Was Long a Danger to US National Security
Townhall.com ^ | August 18, 2018 | Humberto Fontova

“Mr Brennan has a history that calls into question his objectivity and credibility.” (President Donald Trump, Aug.15, 2018.)

“Cuba is not a threat to the United States…They don’t implicate our national security in any way…The government of Cuba has not provided any support for international terrorism during the preceding six-month period; and the government of Cuba has provided assurances that it will not support acts of international terrorism in the future.” (President Obama after meeting with Raul Castro in Panama and recommending that Stalinist Cuba be removed from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, April 14th, 2015.).

Presumably the head of the CIA at the time John Brennan, who had been a close national security advisor to Barack Obama since his 2008 campaign, signed-off on (and maybe even encouraged) Obama’s decision to whitewash and legitimize the Castro-Family-Crime-Syndicate. Never mind that this whitewash required taking one of modern history’s most infamous liars at his word.

But in fact, only a few weeks before Obama’s (and presumably Brennan’s) giddy acceptance of Castro’s promise (“cross my heart and hope to die!”), Castro got caught red-handed supplying Chinese-made arms to the Western hemisphere’s oldest, biggest and most murderous terror-group: Colombia’s FARC. The terror-death toll from these Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) exceeds 200,000, and includes more U.S. citizens than were murdered by ISIS.

So maybe it was a mere coincidence that the very week Obama (with presumably Brennan’s support) planned to remove Cuba as a terror-sponsor the mainstream media (especially CNN) blacked-out any mention of this blatant terror-sponsorship by Cuba in our own backyard?

You see, amigos: In February 2015, Colombian authorities found 99 missile heads, 100 tons of gunpowder, 2.6 million detonators, and over 3,000 artillery shells hidden under rice sacks in a ship bound from Red China to Cuba that docked in the port of Cartagena Colombia.

Most Cuba-watchers immediately guessed what was up. And crackerjack Colombian (NOT CNN, heaven forbid!) reporters quickly investigated and exposed the Castro-regime’s terror-sponsoring scheme. In brief:

*The arms were from a Chinese manufacturer named Norinco and the recipient was a Cuban company named Tecnoimport.

*But the ship stopped in the Colombian ports of Cartagena and Baranquilla (where the FARC is based.)

* Colombia’s crackerjack newspaper El Espectator also reported that many Norinco-manufactured arms had already been captured from FARC guerrillas over the past ten years. This proliferation of Cuba-smuggled Chinese arms to the terrorist FARC got so bad that in 2007-08 the Colombian authorities even sent a diplomatic protest note to the Chinese.

This awkward information at such an awkward time, needless to say, might have hampered Obama’s plan (with presumably Brennan’s support) to cleanse the Castro regime from any taint of terror-sponsorship—at least for people with half-a-brain.

But shouldn’t the head of (probably) the world’s largest and most lavishly–funded intelligence agency (the CIA) have been aware of this Cuban terror-sponsorship on our very doorstep? So how could he possibly sign-off on Obama’s howler that “the government of Cuba has not provided any support for international terrorism during the preceding six-month period?

Two years earlier (with John Brennan the recently appointed CIA director by Obama) Panamanian authorities discovered unregistered Russian missile parts and actual MIG jets hidden in a North Korean ship that had just left terror-sponsoring Cuba and was bound for terror-sponsoring North Korea through the Panama Canal. All the Russian made contraband was hidden under sacks of Cuban sugar. An investigation by a U.N. panel (no less!) concluded that the Cuban smuggling was a blatant violation of international sanctions.

Shouldn’t a CIA director have been aware of this illegal, blatant and repeated smuggling of arms from one terror-sponsor to another in our own backyard?

But AH! Looking the other way was very convenient for de-classifying the blatantly guilty party from the list of terror-sponsors--a condition Castro demanded before he would deign to allow Obama to legitimize and enrich his regime. The Castros, you see, knew full well how Obama desperately craved this “opening” to Cuba for his “legacy.

So they had a ball! They played him like a fiddle, humiliating his “negotiators’ (mostly Pajama-Boy Ben Rhodes) at every turn and absolutely mercilessly, while snickering.

But perhaps we're being overly harsh on John Brennan’s stupidity (or disingenuousness) regarding Castroism? After all, he follows a long and illustrious U.S. national security tradition on the Castros. To wit:

“Fidel Castro is not only not a communist –he’s a strong anti-Communist fighter. He’s ready to help us in the hemisphere’s anti-communist fight and we should share our intelligence with him.” (CIA Cuba “expert” Frank Bender, April, 1959.)

“Don’t worry. We’ve infiltrated Castro’s guerrilla group in the Sierra Mountains. The Castro brothers and Ernesto “Che” Guevara have no affiliations with any Communists whatsoever.” (Havana CIA station chief Jim Noel, 1958.—(in fact, the Castro brothers and Che Guevara had a KGB handler named Nikolai Leonev since 1954!)

“Nothing but refugee rumors. There’s no likelihood that the Soviets or Cubans would try and install an offensive capability (missiles) in Cuba.” (JFK’s National Security advisor Mc George Bundy on ABC’s Issues and Answers on October 14, 1962.

Exactly 48 hours later U-2 photos sat on JFK’s desk revealing that those “refugee rumors” were sitting in Cuba and pointed directly at Bundy, JFK and their entire staff of sagacious Ivy League national security wizards.

If and when all the facts are on the table we will find that John Brennan and Former National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes(Brother of CBS News President) were the masterminds behind the whole Dossier scandal. Stay tuned!

A history of incompetence:

http://www.allgov.com/news/appointments-and-resignations/director-of-the-central-intelligence-agency-who-is-john-brennan-130204?news=846960

... Since formally joining CIA in 1980, Brennan has held a variety of senior positions in the Agency. From 1984 to 1989, he served as an intelligence analyst in the Office of Near Eastern and South Asian Analysis. He was in charge of terrorism analysis in the DCI’s Counterterrorist Center between 1990 and 1992, including the first Gulf War.

He served as the CIA’s daily intelligence briefer for President Bill Clinton at the White House in 1994 and 1995, and then as executive assistant to then-Deputy DCI George Tenet from 1995 to 1996.

He served as CIA station chief in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 1996 to 1999, when the Khobar Towers bombing killed 19 U.S. servicemen, deaths a subsequent investigation partly blamed on intelligence failures at CIA.

From 1999 to March 2001, he again directly served Tenet, who had risen to CIA Director, this time as Chief of Staff, followed by a stint as CIA Deputy Executive Director from March 2001 to 2003, the period when the agency missed growing signs of an impending terror attack on U.S. soil.

From 2003 to 2005 Brennan served as director of the newly created Terrorist Threat Integration Center and its successor agency, the National Counterterrorism Center, which compile information from other U.S. agencies for the President’s daily intelligence briefings.

In December 2003 he distributed intelligence, which was soon discredited, to the White House that led to a controversial “Orange Terror Alert” that proved groundless.

Leaving government in 2005, Brennan started his own company...

Fusion GPS, Hillary's campaign, CIA's Brennan, and Obama officials—were all focused on destroying Donald Trump.
The FBI got involved using very suspect methodologies. One crucial question is how early this all happened?.........

ITEM——Hillary Clinton ran in the 2008 and 2016 democratic primaries----and in the 2016 general election.

ITEM——S/C Mueller “uncovered” that the "Russian collusion scheme" apparently "materialized sometime in 2014.

Now, here’s the $64,000 question not addressed———

Why didn’t the CIA or the NSA or the FBI pick this up?

Were Obama’s PDB’s falsified? Probably---Brennan knew the Halfrican was too stupid to catch on.

Brennan got outed as calculatedly working the phony "pee dossier" into Obama's PDB.

Dates are important b/c Snowden’s’ revelations indicate Obama’s government spying apparatus began capturing all electronic data on Americans in 2001.

The Obama police state had a lot of help---govt mastered the capture of all keystrokes, telephone calls and digital traffic by 2005.

This we know:

<><>(A) traffic travels through FBI computers, and,

<><> (B) the CIA keeps constant tabs on Russian spies in Russia....... and elsewhere.

Again. Why didn’t the CIA or the NSA or the FBI pick this up?

Excellent summary and questions. You won’t see the MSM,including Chris Wallace bring this up in one of their fake focused/probing face moments...

A former CIA station chief in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia, converted to Islam, a complete dimmi to Islam which supports international jihad sub-rosa, and Brennan did and still does their bidding.

Brennan is a security risk. PDJT was absolutely right to remove his security clearance.

Makes one wonder why Brennan is so scared of losing his clearance. What does he need it for, huh???

A communist as head of the CIA?

How stupid or corrupt can you get, America? There is something very sinister here.

My son was at Khobar Towers when it was bombed. He wasn’t hurt, but could well have been. He sent me photos of the buildings with the front walls blown off.
I never knew Brennan was the CIA station chief in Saudi.
The contempt I’ve felt toward Brennan has grown even deeper, because now its personal.
And he has the audacity to suggest my President is treasonous!!!

The more frightening thing is when we learn that these folks were just not very bright at all. So much for our “best and brightest” illusion.
Always remember McNamara in the 60s. That clown couldn’t pull off a success if it bit him in the Obamahole. But the press told us he was right up there with Einstein.
Oh, forgot, the press told us.

FBI Officials Admit They Spied On Trump Campaign:
Under John Brennan, the CIA operated as an exclusive opposition research outfit for the Hillary Clinton campaign.

It appears from leaked news stories in the British press that Brennan’s oafish spying on Trump began around April 2016, right after Trump’s biggest primary victories.

As it became urgently clear to Brennan that Trump was going to face off against Hillary, Brennan turned to “intelligence partners” in Europe for dirt on Trump.

But they didn’t have any, save some pretty skimpy material on “contacts” between Trump campaign officials and Russians…

https://www.wnd.com/2013/02/shock-claim-obama-picks-muslim-for-cia-chief/

...“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia,” Guandolo told interviewer and radio host Tom Trento.

“That fact alone is not what is most disturbing,” [ former FBI Islam expert John] Guandolo continued. “His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to the be the director of Central Intelligence.”...

Brennan has given aid and comfort to the enemy. The Constitution has a word for that.

And there’s also a word for the Sessions - coward.

McNamara did good work in WWII when he was on LeMay’s staff I believe. He did great work at Ford as an executive. Kennedy plucked him from there to be SecDef. He rose to his level of incompetence?

Yep. Even if I thought this crowd was on our side, it would still be frightening that they were in responsible positions in our intelligence service.
