These are all things which I don’t generally associate with the country of Sweden for some reason, but it turns out that such acts of unrest are actually rather common there

You also have to remember that they took in a lot of people that otherwise would have met a bad end with the Nazis.

Also, Sweden was neutral, as was the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czechoslovakia, the Baltic nations, Greece, Albania, Yugoslavia and a few others whose neutrality didnt mean jack.

An unoccupied Sweden was just dumb luck more than paying off the Germans.

Title doesn't match article. It sounds more like Sweden is on the verge of rejecting the uncontrolled immigration of hordes of uneducated, unassimilable 3rd-Worlders, not socialism.

It's hard to restrain immigration, when you provide a huge buffet of goodies to attract them. The big question is, IF Sweden chose to get rid of immigrants, how far would they be willing to go in order to compel them to leave?

In the late-19th Century, there was a net emigration of Swedes coming to the U.S. - which offered no "huge buffet of goodies to attract them."

The immigrants currently thronging to Sweden are coming simply because Sweden is not turning them back at the border (or, more precisely: at the airports). They are coming because Sweden is allowing them in. No one is "sneaking" over the border by cover of night. Instead, Swedish border control officers are simply letting them in (because their superiors - ultimately, the ruling government - have ordered them to do so).

Unless you know the background, this type of "History" leaves so much to infer/assume by the reader that they are pointed in the wrong direction and their feelings take over making this a very emotion statement of fact. It is hard to console a grieving person, a person crying over worry and thus the LEFT works hard to keep their corral ENDORFIN'D UP on the Drug of Emotion.

Trump should have the FDA view media content to detect ENDORFIN Cause and Effect on test groups to determine that some articles in print lead to, or cause, undue emotional damage resulting in those affected persons becoming Democrats. The articles should then be rewritten for the test groups without the stimulus-response BAIT to see if the test groups get an emotionally charged response.

I also think it’s too late. One generation in and the demographic change is permanent, because you can’t deport native citizens. The problem is that the one thing guaranteed to break a welfare state is open borders, as Milton Friedman pointed out. Other things can be patched over, but dilution of the tax-paying population with welfare recipients is fatal. They’re there, they’re not assimilating, and they aren’t going away. And more of them are coming.
