Pressure on Keith Ellison to drop out of the race for Attorney General of Minnesota is growing. National and state party leaders are hedging their bets, mostly either refusing to comment or releasing anodyne statements. But the National Organization of Women has called on Ellison to step down. The best sign of mounting pressure is this:
CBS has the story on the most recent domestic abuse allegation against Ellison: Woman accusing Rep. Keith Ellison of abuse speaks out.
On Thursday, [Karen] Monahan, 44, spoke on camera for the first time about an incident she said happened nearly two years ago.
Monahan said she has video of what happened but that its too traumatic for her, so she has chosen not to share it with anyone.
I doubt that there is a video, but its possible.
Monahan said that in September of 2016, she and her then boyfriend, Ellison, got into a heated argument that scared her. She said it started when he came into a room where she was laying on a bed, listening to a podcast.
Laying on a bed? Its like fingernails on a blackboard, but irrelevant to the present point, except to note that reporters are increasingly illiterate.
He asked her to take out the trash and when he asked if she heard him, she shook her head.
He looked at me, goes Hey you f***ing hear me and then he looked at me, he goes Bitch, get the f*** out of my house, and he started to try to drag me off the bed, Monahan said. Thats when I put my camera on to video him.
That Ellison quote leads the Drudge Report tonight.

Since when does the woman take out the trash, that is the man’s job.
More at site.....Powerline has one from 2005
At this point, no one knows what will happen. My prediction, take it for what it is worth, is that Ellison will be forced to step down as the Democrats AG nominee. Not because he is a socialist or worse, not because he is a long-time supporter of the Nation of Islam and an anti-Semite, and most important, not because, as a life-long supporter of, and advocate for, those who murder police officers, he is utterly unfit to be the states chief law enforcement officer. Rather, because many Minnesota Democrats are bitter about the fact that Al Franken was driven out of office by his Democratic colleagues for far less..
I hope President Trump will take out the trash, soon.
“Pressure on Keith Ellison to drop out of the race for Attorney General of Minnesota is growing.”
So does that mean he is the 2020 nomination front-runner?
Step down from the race for AG? He’s also one of the leaders of the Democrat Party itself - Vice Chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Democrats hate women. Thats why they arent commenting.
The PDS destruction of Ellison is about to go full blast. May he suffer greatly.
Blacks beat women.
Ellison denied the entire thig when he made his Acceptance Speech. He thinks he can pull off a Bill Clinton.
Has anyone else noticed that the word “Anodyne” has been used in many many instances just over the last few days.
Are you sure? Yes, I’m positive.
The only reason they drove Franken out was because of the Alabama special election. They needed to wrap themselves in a cloak of righteousness as they pushed their phoney stories about Roy Moore. And since they could afford to jettison Franken without losing the seat, they did so.
And nary one peep from the corrupt MSM.
While important, the domestic abuse is the least of the issues of why he shouldn’t be the AG of MN. He was a member of the Nation of Islam with it’s anti-American and hate filled ideology; and, he has expressed strong support for cop killers. He has been able to hide and minimize those facts, but they should be huge issues during the campaign if he does not step down. It isn’t just the domestic abuse, but that seems to be the issue drawing attention.
With all the talk about a "blue wave" in November, there hasn't been a lot of attention paid to a couple of close House races in Minnesota where the GOP can actually pick up seats currently held by Democrats. Race and gender politics will be a major factor in the pressure by Democrats to get rid of Ellison. The optics of a black man physically abusing a white woman are terrible in a state where 85% of the population is white.
I can’t believe that NOW is taking out the trash. Has hell frozen over?
