Falwell Jr.: Sessions and Rosenstein ‘deceived’ Trump into appointing them and should ‘rot’ in jail
The Hill ^ | 08/13/18 | Aris Folley

Posted on 08/13/2018 3:34:59 PM PDT by detective

Evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr. said he thinks Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray “deceived” President Trump into appointing them.

“Are there any grownups w/ integrity left in the DOJ?” Falwell first said on Twitter on Friday. “When I was a kid, I watched [Republicans] join [Democrats] to force Nixon out. Now [Democrats] won’t join [Republicans] to lock up [former FBI Director James] Comey, [former Attorney General Loretta] Lynch, [Department of Justice official Bruce] Ohr, Rosenstein, [FBI agent Peter] Strzok, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama & maybe even Jeff Sessions despite damning evidence!”

I think Mr. Falwell has a point.

I’m finding it hard to disagree with Mr. Falwell’s assertion.

It’s difficult in one way to believe, and easy in another way to believe.

What I want to gently but firmly ask Falwell is: where is his church on praying for a fitting resolution to government corruption problems?

The One with the government on His shoulders might be asked to shrug that problem aside, so to speak. Whether they “go to jail” is of no concern compared with overcoming the satanic burden associated with them. I’d hope they’d repent and promptly recuse themselves, leaving Donald with no more persecutors from that angle.

So, I did a search for 'jeff sessions' on twitter and TPTB included all posts to @jerryfalwellJr. I'm sure that's SOP for twitter to add extra 'features' to their search to skew it for the left...I've just never seen it before.

I think Rev Falwell has been a Trump supporter from day one. Twittering his mind openly is more than many dare to do. He’s spoken out for President Trump before.. and his college is teaching truth to their students.

Ultimately spiritual action is still necessary to bring forth a benefit.

The bigger problem in our scene isn’t the men. It’s Satan.

I liked Fallwell, Jr’s father, too. Even if he did think that we Jews are sinners he was still our friuend.

I’m pretty sure the only reason Rosenstein was appointed was because Sessions wanted him. I’d like to know who recommended that wet dishrag Wray

About time someone said it. You can bet Rosenweasel recommended that worthless hack Wray.

You know Sessions has jumped the shark when Falwell joins the dogpile.

What nonsense.

Please tell me what ‘crime’ Rod Rosenstein and Jeff Sessions have committed?

This Hill Topper should shut his smelly, denture-encrusted trap.

Hey, Snakey! Zip it, we’ll call if you’re needed in 2020.

The ‘crime’ you seek is right there in the title.

You must have skipped that part.

And secondly, why are you disrespecting a man who President Trump has invited to the Oval Office many times? You don’t like President Trump but are afraid to say so?

Deception is a crime?

No, it is not.

His ranting about locking people in jail for make believe crimes is not helping things.

I agree. I figured that out long ago.

The Qrappers and Sundancers multiply supposition upon supposition, while bragging about being sneakily privy to secret knowledge, like Early Church Gnostics.

Occam’s Razor says SES-sions - in the SES since 1988, as I understand it - is either complicit or compromised.

All the talk about White Hats makes me marvel at the naivete of many so-called conservatives.

I am an ordained minister, well acquainted with the depravity of humankind, and the temptations faced by those in powerful positions.

(I personally know a formerly nationally famous pastor, generally honorable, who fell to temptation and committed adultery just once, but it damaged his life and compromised his ministry.)

The Sessions Sycophants speak of a lifelong politician in high office as if he has lived a pervasively and unfailingly virtuous life.

It only takes ONCE. Does anyone remember the FBI files the Clintons took? What does Sessions’ file say?

Best case scenario: Sessions is an inveterate Institutionalist, not a genuine Constitutionalist. He will do some cleaning up in house and on the sly, but will not subject his peers and pals to the same legal standard he inflicts upon us.

He has already violated his Oath multiple ways - abdicating authority, defying oversight - and he actually praised the shysters in the Bundy trial whose case was thrown out with prejudice!

I do not trust Sessions - nor anyone who tells me to trust Sessions.

Jesus Christ aside, I have learned not to trust anyone absolutely.

“Not carrying out their sworn duty.”

Firing offense. Not a crime.
