The American Left is stoking hatred and it’s tearing us apart. Our media is guilty of not only of failing to shame those responsible, in many cases they egg them on, giving them a platform. The volume of irrational hatred spewing into our ether is extremely unhealthy, even dangerous for our republic and the broader American culture.

Given that equation, George Soros is #1 by a large margin.

Interestingly enough, with the exception of Farrakhan, who is at least considered "controversial" by some mainstream liberals and Democrats, all of the individuals on this list are embraced by the liberal mainstream. This means that they're hardly extraordinary in their hatred or vitriole - they're completely typical of modern liberalism.

Sarah Jeong doesn't sound much different from any other Social Justice Warrior fresh out of college or a comfy internship. Maxine Waters just says what most other Congression Democrats say or at least think, just more loudly and less diplomatically. Te-Nehisi Coates is what passes for ethnic studies "scholarship" these days, while George Soros speaks for all transnational alphabet soup agencies: UN, EU, IMF, etc. These people are no longer the freakish extreme, they've become representative.

Never heard of Alicia Garza, and DeNiro is otherwise a total lightweight. I would put Rosie O’Donnell and Joy Behar on that list instead.
