As an outsider and a mere 13 year resident the corruption and patronage politics is so entrenched here I do not ever see a time that it will not be business as usual for New Mexico. Positions and Political offices are bartered and/or become family patrimony. Rail Runner, ART, a number of government building projects, Paseo del Volcan Extension, Space Port and the list goes on of money pored down rat holes, mismanaged or siphoned off to line pockets. New Mexico should be experiencing growth on par with our neighbors Texas and Arizona, but we are no where even close and I lay it at the feet of the bungling, mismanaged and corrupt state government.
Richardson? He's an elder "statesman" now doing TV spots on North Korea. Do Dem longtime swamp dwellers ever get anything but hand slaps? Of course not, that's reserved for Trump associates like Manafort.
I know, and it’s infuriating. If there were any justice, a lot of Democrats would have been charged and sentenced.
Hillary, Sen. Menendez, Sandy “socks” Berger, Charlie Rangel, just to name a few.
