The Left doesn’t acknowledge that not all of those who oppose removal of Confederate monuments are white nationalists. It was for those that the president expressed an understanding that their motive for preservation of the monuments could be other than racism. The Left distorted this into an endorsement of white nationalists and/or Neo-Nazis.

I didn't even know there was a neo-Nazi march in Charlottesville until a day or two after Trump made his "good people on both sides comment," and I don't think Trump did, either. I think he thought it was just another in a series of protests about removing Confederate monuments. He was up to his ears in the North Korea crisis at the time, and I don't think he had been properly or thoroughly briefed about Charlottesville.

Please stop using the term White Nationalist. Nationalism has nothing to do with race.

It is the LEFT’s attempt to tie Trump’s policies to racism. Please dont fall for it.
