I'm not a lawyer, but here is the code: TITLE II. COMMENCING AN ACTION; SERVICE OF PROCESS, PLEADINGS, MOTIONS, AND ORDERS › Rule 4. Summons

Based on this, I do not think Twitter is an appropriate means to serve a summons. The process requires the plaintiff to seek a court signature and stamp of approval, and waiver forms and prepaid return materials. Twitter would not be a viable means to return the defendant's waiver to the court.

Also, isn't the summons process about due process and ensuring that the defendant is made aware of the case against him? Can one reasonably assume that a Twitter summons was received and acknowledged?

Remember the problems we all had with the on-line version of Obama's alleged birth certificate, where we only saw one side of a supposedly faxed document with embossed seal? Would anyone want to rely on an on-line facsimile of a court document transmitted via Twitter to be legitimate and carry the full force of law?

Working with Trump? Puh-lease. Assange is an equal opportunity trouble maker. If the GOP’s system had been so easily hacked, he would have published embarrassing internal documents from the GOP, too. Or if someone like Seth Rich would have gotten fed up and handed Assange a zip stick. Whichever.

“The murder spawned several right-wing conspiracy theories, including the false claim that Rich had been involved with the leaked DNC emails in 2016, contradicted by the July 2018 indictment of 12 Russian military intelligence agents for hacking the e-mail accounts and networks of Democratic Party officials[5] and by the U.S. intelligence community’s conclusion the leaked DNC emails were part of Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections.[6][7][8] Law enforcement[6][7] as well as fact-checking websites like PolitiFact.com,[7][9] Snopes.com,[10] and FactCheck.org stated that these theories were false and unfounded.[6] The New York Times,[11] Los Angeles Times,[12] and The Washington Post called the fabrications fake news and falsehoods.[13]”

Boy. Talk about self-serving, circular arguments. Seth Rich wasn’t involved, because we refuse to believe he was involved. Hillary doesn’t believe she had him murdered, either, because she denies going around having people murdered.

We know it’ll happen in the future... don’t know if it’s happening yet.
