They also forget many Americans are armed.
Looks like a new “protected class” needs to be added to the list. Anyone who speaks out against the insidious left.
How much do you think Infowars should win in a civil suit? I’m thinking $80B against all those who are doing this to them right now should do it. $200B if they do it to anyone else.
All these companies doing this should also be broken up with right wing watchdogs like Infowars given the power to shut them down if they don’t play nice in the future. Poetic justice.
“Time to publish the home addresses of members of the media.”
And then what?
I never did hear why that was so. Did you?
“How much do you think Infowars should win in a civil suit?”
So the courts still work and can render justice?
“WE do not have freedom of speech. Dems skate, but conservatives have to obey all laws or go to prison.”
Very much like the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Party members could not face sanctions except those given by party leadership.
I see FR being left alone.
Interesting that the infighting on the Left may come a lot sooner. If you read the London papers, the Labour Party has been taken over by a coven of the far left which is overtly anti-Semitic and anti-Israel whatever it does. Many influential members of the Jewish community in Britain that have been longstanding supporters of Labour are finding themselves closed out by these obnoxious policies which are obvious pandering to the rising Muslim population of Britain and the traditional far left which has an even bigger foothold in the UK than here.
Alex Jones is only standing up for freedom in his own oddball way and with his extremely emotional methods. And being wrong about 911 reminds me of certain people (Hannity,Glenn Beck, others) who are all set with a scoop that turns out to be false. It happens. The MSM is ALL lies and false info. They are not banned.
He says Hillary is evil and should go to jail, he thinks someone was leaking from the White House and someone was intercepting Trump information to use against him and recording him in conversation. NOW you say that’s boring news about the lawyer Cohen and the WH recordings and the tapping of info and all that. Alex Jones said it in early 2016.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they tied a rope around him a dragged him through the streets.
That is why many Americans are Armed.
I think FR has already been attacked, several times.
Over the years. Perhaps I’m incorrect.
Or it seemed so and more than once.
“No one should be forced to provide an email service or bake a cake.”
These aren’t privately owned firms operating in a competitive market. These are tech giants that rule the world of public communication in a fashion similar to what the railroads were doing for public transportation in the 1880s.
They have market power that makes them defacto monopolies.
Like the RRs before them they are using that market power to discriminate in favor of, or in this case against, certain customers instead of giving them all uniform access.
After enough years of big business acting badly, voters put pressure on Congress and got them to create the first federal regulatory agency the Interstate Commerce Commission.
” A central issue was rate discrimination between similarly situated customers and communities. Other potent issues included alleged attempts by railroads to obtain influence over city and state governments and the widespread practice of granting free transportation in the form of yearly passes to opinion leaders (elected officials, newspaper editors, ministers, and so on) so as to dampen any opposition to railroad practices.”
Bad enough with RRs, arguably worse with communication giants that can censor political speech.
They are going to end up being declared the equivalent of public utilities and will be forced to offer equal service to all customers.
FR will be banned....
To FReepers it is “private business and they can do whatever they want” (as Facebook, et al.)
It is already happening.
It was due to Alex’s anti-Bush and 9/11 views back when Bush was very popular here.
Nope!
Too many Americans armed.
How, exactly was he “wrong” about 9/11.
He has been deliberately misquoted about the “inside job” statement. He basically said that there were people in what we now call the deep state who knew about it and did nothing. He wasn’t wrong about that.
Tech issues.
