The future of the American nation, as incredible as it seems, will depend on the voters in twenty five competitive House districts and ten Senate races. They will come to understand that a vote for the Democrat is essentially a vote for open borders, the abolishment of Federal law enforcement, globalism, socialism, higher taxes and the destruction of American culture or they won’t understand what is at stake. The Media will scream “fear mongering” and whatever when Trump pounds this message in October. For the sake of the American nation, he will do his duty well.

Great read. While every point is spot on, I think the whole thing boils down to the Left in this country being predominately Godless. Their secularism, love of abortion and homosexual marriage, open borders-mindset, etc., all stem from having no solid rock to stand on. There’s a reason you don’t see conservatives, at least those who profess to believe in God, out rioting, pulling people out of cars and beating them, cussing, shouting down opposition, etc. We’re built on a solid rock and have absolutes when it comes to right and wrong. The Left have no such restraints.

I disagree. It isn’t “globalism” that is at fault. “Globalism” is tied to capitalism. The correct identification is “global socialism” aka communism. The cancer of socialism, and the “cells” infected with communist-think DNA are the root problem.
Bread and Circuses, or Cable and Welfare in our case, is the only thing keeping the masses indifferent enough to prevent a civil war.
Another thing that helps is that there are so many factions. There is not a single polarizing Question, like slavery or secession.
If the cable goes out, the EBTs stop refilling, or that Question finally arises, then it’s on.
BTW, illegal immigration (barbarian invasion) could very well become that Question.

Reforming the university would help too, mostly by abolishing tenure, requiring an exit competence exam for the BA degree (a sort of reverse, back-end SAT or ACT exam)

Lots of online programs are available today which somewhat isolate students from the ideological pressures exerted by on-campus liberal professors. Remote learning may be a trend that has multiple benefits to students and society.
Excellent analysis by Dr. Hanson, 100% correctomundo as usual, but the idea that there is a “second civil war” coming is wrong. At least not in the sense of armies fighting. There will be increasing violence between groups of left and right at protests, speeches and demonstrations and even some rioting but it’s not possible for the two sides to don uniforms and square off. I see no real gravitation towards the forming of armed militia so the “second civil war” is really going to be little more than an eternal shouting match in speech and in print with a few bloody noses and broken bones thrown in here and there. On the down side, there is no way to completely vanquish the left in this manner so there is no final resolution possible.
As soon as we completely occupy and shut down the leftist media in this country, I will change my mind about all of the above.
No. There are no geographic boundaries this time. The two sides are interspersed. If there is fighting, it will not be a war; it will be anarchy.

I taught Business Law at the undergrad and Masters level for 2.5 years at a local university. As much as I love teaching, I couldn’t continue grading papers that, even from the masters-level students, were so poorly written that my 8th grade English/History teachers would have given me a 0. I also refused to follow the protocol for Academic and Attendance Advisories: email on the first absence/failing grade, text on the second, call on the third, make a tutoring/advising appointment on the fourth, etc., etc. My thought was, “If he/she isn’t willing to put in the effort, the grade will reflect it.” I’m all about seeing if there’s something else going in a student’s life, but for God’s sake, people, GROW UP.

Sorry, I have to disagree with him here. There is only one major cause of the division, and that is the desire of the Marxist left to destroy our way of life. They cause civil wars everywhere they go. It’s what they do.
