Witnesses report huge blast at US embassy in Beijing

SMOKE is blanketing Beijing after a huge blast hit the US embassy in China’s capital. Witnesses have reported a large explosion as dozens of officials swoop on the area.

The blast rocked the site after a man reportedly threw a homemade bomb into the gated area, according to local media.

Chinese media say witnesses have reported the man intended to be hurl the explosive into the embassy but it exploded before he could get it over the fence, injuring people and a police car in its path.

Odd timing. No other China disturbances going on - other than the trade “wars” being hyped by ABCNNBCBS. Hard to figure another country (NK, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghan ...) would go into China to create violence against US there, on Chinese soil.

I wouldn’t. Lot of Anti US sentiment running through China because of the way their economy has been hit and the Chicom media is doing everything it can to blame the US for it.

Yes, does seem less serious than that. Odd thing to me is location (China) & two supposed incidents. Women with petrol than men with explosive or fireworks, supposedly hours apart.
