President Trump threatened Iran in a late-night tweet on Sunday
No, he didn't. President Trump responded strongly to threats from Iran - nice attempt at spin by NPR, our tax-payer funded public radio system which is apparently moonlighting as Iran's propaganda arm.

This kind of talk is likely to revive John McCain! /s

Liberals complained Trump did not endorse the intel thugs who’ve been defaming & persecuting him, but will probably side with Iran on this issue.

In the case of North Korea, she pointed out, the crisis was declared over despite any nuclear weapons being dismantled.Um ... Mara ... even your own NPR (?!) reported that NK demolished a nuclear test site ...

NPR can be trusted to side with anyone who hates the USA.

Anytime someone sides with the USA over a foreign entity, esp. an enemy, is a “threat” to the commie media.

If W had turned Iran into a parking lot, we wouldn’t still be having to deal with them.

People who listen to npr are shocked! They are weeping into their gluten-free vegan granola and looking teary-eyed at the “doomsday” clock and peeing their pants because the pointer has moved to 11.59.59.5 and we’re all gonna die!!

"NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE." "WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!"
If it would fit I'd make it my tagline.

How many minutes would it take the USA to destroy most of Iran’s military and kill their leaders?

About 15 to 20. That’s true of pretty much any country you could name.

I’ll never forget the 442 days that Iran held Americans hostage.
It was horrible, and was all Jimmuh Cahtah’s fault.
Thank God for Ronald Reagan, but even he was not as forceful as PDJT.
For the record, the 80’s were the happiest years of my life!

“If W had turned Iran into a parking lot, we ...”
... would have nuked 20 million innocent Iranians who are just as pissed with the Mullahs as we are.
We would have given beaucoup validation to every Pol Pot equivocation ever uttered by any America-hating leftist anywhere.
I totally get the sentiment, but the Iranian regime is daily ignored by thousands of man-on-the-street Iranians; most of them young people who despise the repression and would be happy for any viable route to restoration of the cosmopolitan city of Tehran that existed before the Carter Administration.

I don't like that kind of talk either. It irks me when people talk about turning other countries into "glass parking lots." Those people don't speak for me.
I think some great things are happening in the Middle East with regard to Israel, Saudi Arabia and the GCC taking the leadership role there. For the first time, I see the potential for long term peace over there - brought about locally and not by some outside nation.
So if that comes to pass, The United States won't be getting credit for it and probably shouldn't be getting credit for it. Let it come from within that region.
Trump is the first president to see that real solutions involve the other side saving face and not being seen as "rump" states of the USA. This was Jimmy Carter's big mistake at Camp David. He (Carter) wanted to be seen as the hero that brought the sides together.
Would our own country be as successful if we allowed France to assume the glory for our successful revolution? How would we have turned out if we had allowed France to come over here in 1783 to supervise our elections, bring us aid and assistance and tell us how we should run things?
So a successful peace in the Middle East needs to come about through those in that region.
