I haven't asked him yet. I have been trying to figure out when I will need him the most. So far mornings have been my most difficult as that is when my husband is the weakest. If my grandson will be willing to help him get out of bed, showered and dressed I think that is when I will need him the most. I just need to call or message him and ask if he is willing do that.
Before my husband went to the hospital we had Fox News BLARING real loud ALL DAY as he can't hear very well. I found out how peaceful it was during those 2 weeks he was gone. I only turned on Fox occasionally and the volume down. I didn't want to deprive him of what he enjoys, so this morning I took my lap top put it on a table in front of him tuned it to Fox and put ear buds on him. Now he can listen all day and I don't have to hear it. :-) Also he can play a few games on it, if he can figure them out. I had him doing Solitaire yesterday and he couldn't remember how it went. I showed him several times and he got the drift of it. I don't know how today will be. :-(

My dad watched Fox nonstop also when he was in the house, better that than hooked on the other LSM channels.
My dad did have a Senior Scooter that he would go out on and visit neighbors, clean the condo grounds, visit little shops nearby, gave my mom some quiet time.
She would try to lay down at noon, when Rush was on, but dad invariably would call her to get him things, he called Rush her boyfriend and I think he was jealous.
We all marveled at the patience my mom had with my dad, true love.
OMGosh, she IS being institutionalized, Bill MUST have had her committed.
Breakfast this morning is a small pie crust (tart) with an egg, bacon and green onion.
