Theresa May Agrees to Brexit Hardliner Amendments
Townhall ^ | July 21, 2018 | Cortney O'Brien

British Prime Minister Theresa May has endured swift condemnation from conservatives for agreeing to a "soft Brexit" deal that keeps the UK too closely aligned with the European Union. A few members of her own cabinet, like popular conservative Boris Johnson, resigned. Brexit hardliners are particularly peeved by May's agreeing to a "common rule book" with the EU, which would still tie Britain to some of the EU's regulations. It was the cause for Brexit Secretary David Davis's resignation... the measures would prevent Britain from collecting tariffs on behalf of EU nations unless the EU does the same for them.

...others in the Conservative Party, like legislator Anna Soubry, criticized May... "The only reason that the government has accepted these amendments is because it is frightened of somewhere in the region of 40 members of parliament, the hard no-deal Brexiteers, who should have been seen off a long time ago," she added...

Brits voted to leave the European Union in July 2016. The final vote came to 51.89 percent for Team Leave, and 48.11 for Team Remain.

IOW, Soubry should have been seen off a long time ago -- but the century is still young.

She’s the opposite of Trump, she’s like a weather vane.

God answering many prayers over this matter. Britain needs to return to her Christian roots.

“May has been married to Philip May, an investment banker currently employed by Capital International, since 6 September 1980; the couple have no children.” Almost every person in power across the pond is the same. They don’t or cannot procreate.

Mass revivals and conversions to Christ are their only hope now. The queen and monarchy seem to be doing better than before also. Which is good sign.

Melania Trump spent the day with Ms. May’s husband, Philip May. I found it interesting because usually first ladies spend time together. But in UK, the first spouse is a man. Here they are playing some sort of tournament at a park with children:

Maybe rethinking her positions now that she realizes she could have lost her head?

Not long ago, just before Boris resigned, she was telling the Tories, my way or the highway, and when her bluff got called it sobered her right up. Brexit isn't the only issue, and her failure to have it done by now will cost her the job.

This weak quisling’s governement needs to shatter.

“You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately... Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!”

Just like with the former PM and just like Merkel. You see a “conservative” in name only, thumbing their nose at the will (and in this case vote) of the people to advance a leftist agenda.

Teresa May is despised passionately by real conservatives - during her tenure as Home Secretary 2010-16 she castrated what little was left of the British Police, the current crime wave in the capital and across the country is in part the result.
