Now we know better. Power is power, big power corrupts. The Fed is corrupted I’m many ways, and deeply.
It will take harsh actions, directly applied, to disinfect. Can we do it?
My suspicion is that Carter Page was an FBI plant and that all this intrigue is just a charade intended to provide cover. They probably got the warrant not because they wanted to monitor Page but because they needed the warrant to give plausible reason to monitor the people who would be calling Page.
Page was known to the DOJ, as he was involved 2013-2015 in FBI investigation which led to Russians charged with spying in 2015; and, admitted an undercover role, providing subsequent court testimony. His role ended spring 2013, six months before FISA allegations surfaced.

Carter Page was working for some length of time for the FBI and AGAINST Russia right up to March 2016.
The fish is rotten and smells bad. The FISA Court was never told.
He’s not a spy and not a foreign agent. Just an American who did business in Russia.
Guess you never had the FBI take over a classroom in your school when you were an adolescent, call you in (with no notification of parents) and photograph you, fingerprint you, and ask you questions about the Communist Party while making an obvious point of referring to a thick file they already had on you.
I was a normal kid born in Texas, didn't know the Communist Party from a hole in the ground! My parents hit the roof, as you can imagine.
Let's just say that experience didn't give me aspirations of growing up to be an FBI agent.
That’s really horrible.
In either case, Mueller will never indict Carter Page, because if he did, All the FISA warrant applications would have to be disclosed as part of discovery; along with everything associated with the witch hunt. Mueller isn’t going to voluntarily going to let that happen.
