These people act as if there’s actually an “anti-Trump right”. No there’s not. There’s a few crybabies sprinkled around Washington, but in the country, the right is united behind Trump as they haven’t been united behind anyone since Reagan (putting aside a few months right after 9/11).

I humbly disagree. The hysteria is helping a great deal. It just isn’t helping the Left.

One of the pillars of MSM coverage of the Trump administration is that it’s taken as a given that Trump is Putin’s puppet and hammer it home at every opportunity, ignoring evidence that discredits it and spinning all news to conform to it..........

So when you’ve established that Trump-is-Putin’s-puppet, it was a no-brainer for media to spin the meeting as something especially nefarious............And all this from a group of people who didn’t care one whit when Obama said.

We all know that when you negotiate with nation leaders and then have a press conference, you don’t ordinarily diss that person. You praise him/her. That’s the way diplomacy works.

Trump was clear in his speech...(paraphrased) I can’t be nasty to Putin just to prove something to the Democrats and the MSM......

Further...all the press questions certainly seemed designed to pin Trump down and point the finger at Russia and Putin during the press conference. But of course he wasn’t going to do that; probably no president would have done it while standing there with Putin, who had just denied it. .....that’s why the questions and the entire situation was a trap for Trump. So the left has made it into the worst thing a president has ever said or done, proof of collusion and treason.

Trump did speak very diplomatically, as he should in this situation. Of course, if he had been rude, then the Ds and the MSM would have criticized him for that behavior..... Of course the MSM is not the people who give a darn about facts and nothing can stop them from revising history to help them hurt the President.

Great point!!! It’s like they are projecting all their thoughts they kept in their subconscious during the Obama, brainwash, worship, group think years onto President Trump.

When Clinton used that reset button to reset the ‘relations’ between Russia and the US why wasn’t that seen and reported as blaming the preceding administration for the tensions between Russia and the United States?

These people are weapons grade unhinged.

I suppose they’d have preferred it if Trump had punched Putin during the joint press conference and declared war on Russia.

I seriously think if HRC has won we’d be at war with them by now. We may not realize just how big of a bullet we dodged.

...United States has crushed Russia beneath escalating sanctions, pulled out of the dreadful Iran deal, armed the Ukrainian opposition to Putin, stood up to China’s theft of American intellectual property, actually bombed Syrian chemical-weapons sites, and increased defense spending. Sure, there’s plenty to dislike in Trump’s foreign policy, including his trade wars, his dismissal of allies, his toying with NATO, and his Obama-esque desire to skip out of Syria. But his stupid rhetoric masks a mostly normal, if not always sensible or desirable, foreign policy. And Trump’s national-security strategy is at least coherent when compared with the incoherent global retreat embraced by the last administration. But that’s substance, not feelings.

The above part has merit... unusually thoughtful for a liberal..

The mulatto-marxist-muslim had to “walk back” many things he said and wasn’t threatened with impeachment ... then again, as Prager has said many many times: “Being on the Left means never having to say you’re sorry.”

It was terrific way to get those opposed to MAGA to expose themselves, as if most of us did not already know who they were.

Yep. Exposed some I didn't expect, like Trish Reagan.

I thought she was made of sterner stuff.

Trump is smart... he not only eviscerated the fake news media’s assault on him on the Helsinki summit by forcing them to parse his presser’s words but he managed to wiipe Brett Kavanaugh off their ever-growing list of things they’re outraged about.

And for them, it’s back to Russia! He knows these people better than they know him and he plays them like a Stradivarius violin. They so unhinged in their hate, he’s fhe only one looks rational.

They really should keep it up until November and its only mid-July. They really need to stop digging a hole with their Russian conspiracy collusion nonsense but they can’t help themselves.

Trump in a word, has them right where he wants them and they’re too stupid to realize it.

He keeps on winning and they keep on losing.

The Never Trumpers are a fringe element in the Republican Party. GOP Congress critters who don’t like Trump will be gone next year.

80% of Republicans back the President and his enemies are frustrated they haven’t made a dent in his standing.

Next week, they will find something else to be outraged about. Count on it.

They still haven’t gotten over the 2016 election and they still haven’t figured out what makes Trump tick.

People are just tuning them out. They’ve heard it all and aren’t sold.

I’m just laughing at them and the more vitriolic they get the more I just don’t pay attention to them.

When I hear them quibble over would/wouldn’t, we’re not dealing with sane people here.

There’s no reasoning with folks who should be in the asylum.

This was going to be a "debacle" no matter if there was a press conference or not. They were ready to try to take him down on ANYTHING he said or didn't say.

What will be fun to watch are the election results in November and the DEAD, Stunned Silence from the left when Trump comes in with a Landslide. They cannot understand that all of this is driving people right into his arms.

I think the real reason the left now hates Russia is that Russia is no longer a communist country. They will never forgive them for giving up.

Yup.

Trump had by all accounts, a successful summit.

His enemies hate him and would never credit him no matter what he did.

Trump’s burying the hatchet with Putin left them livid and loaded for bear.

I just love watching them melt down.
