Yeah, he just mowed on Saturday and I can almost watch it growing. LOL! But it’s looking way better than it did in April and May, though there are still some bare spots that need to be covered by it spreading, as St. Augustine does.
Enjoy those drier days. They make all the difference in the temperature!

Your grass sounds like ours. A little rain and it jumps an inch or two overnight. Hubby mowed late last week but after the inch of rain we got over the weekend, you can’t tell.
They SAY we’ll have lower humidity but we’ll see how that goes. It’ll be nice if they’re correct. It does make a difference.

Our poor yard is so starved for water that’s not full of chlorine and heaven knows what else, that it really perks up when it rains even a little bit. Just wish it would do more of it. I’m greedy!
I hope what they say is right about your humidity. High humidity can really take the wind out of your sails. And the AC isn’t very effective either!

Yeah, plants aren’t all that happy with city water. All those chemicals don’t agree with them very well. It’s better than no water at all but rain water is so much better.
It’ll still be more humid here than it is there but any drop in it will be welcome. It’s been hard to make ourselves go anywhere because it’s so uncomfortable outside.

I did ftx there in 1987 while I was doing AIT @ uncle Ben’s rest home, ft Benjamin Harrison. Of course, we had a cold snap that week. Brrrrrrr!
