Like it or not Buck-o...you're outta here our way this time!
The face of Progressive Journalists!
Are shutter click/film wind sounds on digital cameras even real?
Um. Yes respect. But they want a whole lot more than fairness and Trump ain't going to give them anything more.
Hence the trade war with China.
Hence the sanctions on Putin crony oligarchs, strikes on Syria, boosting NATO funding among our allies, providing millions of dollars in miitary aid to Ukraine.
Hence the RELENTLESS sanctions on North Korea, which China and Russia keep trying to skirt and block in the U.N.
The list goes on. Trump respects. He doesn't kowtow. Big difference. What would these leaders prefer? Hmm...
Hill's expertise on the Russian president's upbringing, personality quirks, communication style, and KGB habits have clearly been absorbed by Trump, who is now mirroring them and adopting them himself. All of course to play (and win) the game. The game with Russia and the game with the Deep State here at home.

In the end, I suppose the best Trump can offer them all is his raw leadership, advice, and moral support to be the best leaders they can be for their country's peoples.
A few weeks before the 2016 election, Trump gave a short speech at the Old Post Office in DC as a dedication to the building's restoration.
What he said that day was a kind of farewell to his life as a real estate tycoon. And I was so impressed with that speech that I transcribed most of it and posted it in an FR vanity: Trump's Farewell to Real Estate Speech: Text
I think the metaphor Trump talks about can equally apply to his foreign policy. Here's the best part of the speech:
I've loved my life in business and I've loved getting to share my dreams with my family. It's an incredible family and Melania I want to thank you very much. You were fantastic.
Where others see only dead ends, I've dreamed of the amazing possibilities we have. That's why government has turned to me in the past to fix projects that are going nowhere -- that were considered total disasters.
Whether it's turning a landfill at Ferry Point -- after many, many years of futile work in the Bronz. We turned that into a world class golf course that's now open and doing unbelievable business.
Or revitalizing the fascade of the great Grand Central Terminal or building and saving Wollman Rink in Central Park after 8 years of futility and spending massive amounts of money and getting it done in four months for a very small amount of money.
So many different things.
Today is a metaphor for what we can accomplish for this country. Same kind of thing.
This building is a historic landmark, a true American original. It had all the ingredients of greatness, but it had been neglected and left to deteriorate for many, many decades. It sat there so beautiful and was left to deteriorate for many, many decades.
It sat there so beautiful and so empty and was falling into a very, very bad state of condition.
It had the foundation of success: all of the elements were here. Our job was to restore its former glory, honor its heritage, but also to imagine a brand new and exciting vision for the future. To create a new place for people and families to come together and a magnificent place at that.
I've been very lucky and I've led a great life. Now I want to give back to the country I love so much and has been so good for me.
I want to go into the inner cities, the poor, rural communities and the failing schools and I want to work on a national plan of revitalization.
I'm tired of the excuses of our politicians. I'm tired of the being told what cannot be done. I'm tired of people asking Americans to defer their dreams to another day, but what they really mean is to another decade.
Enough waiting. The time is now. We can achieve our goals for this country and we can do so more quickly than anyone ever thought possible. There is nothing we cannot accomplish.
The United States is great. Its people are great. There is no task or project too great. There is no dream outside of our reach. Don't ever let anyone tell you it can't be done. The future lies with the dreamers, not the cynics and the critics.
Everywhere I go in this country, all I see is untapped potential waiting to be set free. And the biggest element of all is our incredible people -- the people of this country. They are just waiting. They are waiting and waiting. And I think maybe now, their time has come.
And we have to say the word "Never" should always be taken out because we have such tremendous potential. We have to choose the most optimistic things. We have to choose to believe -- not our politicians that in many cases don't know what they're doing -- but instead believe in ourselves and in our country.
If we do that, anything is possible. I'm asking America to join me in dreaming big and bold. And dream for wonderful things in our future.
Let's close the history books on the failures of Washington and open a new chapter of success and prosperity of all of our people.
We have a very divided nation, a seriously divided nation. This is about all of our people -- that is how we will truly make America great again.
Thank you very much. (Applause)
Great speech. And we are so blessed. No leader is perfect, but of everyone, we have the best right now. Praise God.
I still make a distinction though when it comes to authoritarian or outright totalitarian leaders. We need to deal with the Assads and Kim Jong Uns of the world. The Putins and Xi’s...And countries who call out the name of a false ‘Allah’...I don’t see them as equals operating in the best interests of their own people however...
POTUS-VSG-DJT, not only our "Salty Sailor", but also our "Dream Maker".
So inspiring......Trump looks at the world so creatively.
BTW, salt is a flavor enhancer! And if we lack salt and ice cream, and dreams, our spirit dies.
Reagan was great in inspiring Americans, but he didn't have the benefit of social media to fight back against the enemy press. Besides Reagan didn't have half the Deplorable touch that Trump does - much more fun to see the Fake Media being fooled again and again. Lots of laughs as we win.
I've been getting so much value listening to Scott Adams. Almost every day I hear him on podcast as I drive to the library with my computer to work.
There is nothing quite like his commentaries. Very low key, speaks clearly at a human pace, no ads, he tells jokes, responds to people commenting on his talks (via Periscope). Very real.
He understands Trump's strategic mind and translates the battles of the day with great psychological insight.
Trump wasn't playing politics with Putin in Helsinki. He was playing psychology. This particular analysis of his from yesterday is amazing:
