Top Maryland officials have asked the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to help ensure that the state’s election system is secure after learning that a Russian-backed firm is linked to the Maryland state Board of Elections.

Gov. Larry Hogan (R), Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr. (D-Calvert) and House Speaker Michael E. Busch (D-Anne Arundel) sent a joint letter on Friday to Homeland Secretary Kirstjen M. Nielsen asking for technical assistance to evaluate the network utilized by the state board.

Miller and Busch said late Friday during a hastily called news conference in Annapolis that the FBI briefed them on the Russian investment in Maryland’s voting system. They were told there was no indication of a breach or any criminal wrongdoing.

Wouldn’t it be weird if most of the actual Russian hacks were to push Hillary?

This wouldn’t seem to be a worm can that the Feebs want to uncork, but again their extreme willful bias also renders them ignorant.

Oh, definitely. Hillary was an easy mark for them. It’s a lot harder for them to run a scam on an honest man. Especially one who’s been around the block a couple times and has been successful in the real world of international business.

So Maryland had Russian connections to their electoral system.

Hillary won Maryland, if the Russians were helping Trump then he would have won. So this means that the Russians were helping Hillary.

Good news is it appears that that Maryland is the only state to work with the Russians with their voting machines.

Some states treat elections like it is an afterthought when it is their number one priority. Many because it helps with perpetrating the fraud.

How about an approved list of vendors that have already been vetted by the FBI? Hmmm?

All the Russian s have to do is be the lowest bidder and tell the government dimwits anything they want to hear and they get the contract. If I wanted to run crooked elections, it works be easy in many places.

Every time the nattering nabobs think they have a gotcha on Donald... at best it’s quibbling, as though Donald had committed another Archie Bunkerism.

I still believe that America has a vast amount of room to lift God up again before reaching historic levels of faith. This isn’t a Donald Trump job. This is an evangelist job.

I am so ticked Rosenweasel re-invigorated the “the Russians mucked with the election” meme. It has come back as string as ever. You will not find any reference to the fact the Russian went after RNC also. The punk was trying to screw Trump 2 days before he sees Putin. Then Gowdy defends him today, another deep state bastard.

Amazing how the FIB can connect the dots on this, but not on the other “connections” with oligarchs, etc, that infested the activities of other individuals.

It’s because Trump became the lightning rod for deep-state ire.
