Pedophile (feet lover) is just another universal derogation for use by liberals. Words to them have no meaning, only emotional content and use that way rapidly escalates until they run out of words to msignify “the worst.” Racist is losing its sting because of universal use, so I suppose pedophile is next. The Latin for "foot" is pes/pedis.

Pedo or paedo is a Greek prefix derived from pais = child.

You see it in pediatrician and pedagogue as well.
