Actually, socialism creeps in by appointing judges, and creating bureaucracies.
The empire-building of the bureaucrats and usurpation of authority by the judges does the rest.
“...would believe the Dems are actually in charge...”
By all acounts, they ARE;
They manipulate news through the mainstream media, engage in stifling immigration law so that their voter base increases with every illegal immigrant admitted, have endorsed the activities of ANTIFA as valid first-amendment protest, have cultivated an FBI that raids the offices of political opponents contrary to the fourth amendment,
have investigated a sitting president without any crime having been committed by calling him a treasonous lout, thereby making it a “counter-intelligence” investigation that hunts for some nebulous treason, have helped stifle conservative dialogue on college campuses by fully backing protests against them and the Dems are not in charge?
It would seem that they’re extra-legal, extra-Constitutional revolutionaries on a rampage.
IMHO
Democrats are not wedded to elections for gaining or regaining power.That is what these investigations are all about. Mueller is one of those tactics. Street gangs is another.
That’s just it - people are tuning them out. The outrage of the week barely gets noticed outside their circles. They are going to have to up their game to try to gain the attention and power they crave. They are not going to back off, move more center and civil. Their trajectory is clear - more radical, more confrontational, more violent.
