The infamous culprit behind what appears to be a major scandal involving the blackmail of members of the Democratic Party in the House of Representatives, Imran Awan, has cut a deal to enter a guilty plea on the charges of bank fraud.
This decision is absolutely infuriating to many at first glance, considering the overwhelming evidence that did, in fact, exist against the Awans.

deals are fine so long as it’s not immunity. Give him 1/4 off sentence or some thing. This immunity deal stuff in any case is never a good thing.

because telling the truth in situations such as crime should not have to be rewarded in a decent society. And I think if people come forward and tell truth they should get lesser sentence, than caught soon and tell truth immediately, but those who are caught a while after the crime and take a while to finally “crack” or make deal - should get very little leniency on sentence. They cost the society much in terms of man hours in investigating etc and also likely did more damage in ways to more people during the extra time before caught.

“Imran has that much power,” the vendor continued. “How the hell did he have that much control over a Democrat House member that by 8 am the Democrat House member has done his exact bidding? The article is dubious and tries to convince us that the paltry plea deal Amran received will give us higher fish to fry.
I don’t think they’re going to get any higher fish. Any congressman involved would end up in the perpetual house ethics committee instead of prosecution. The play deal is very light on the charges and then the deal even lighter.
Make no mistake, The Amran’s according to the articles and resources I’ve read over the last 18 months all indicate foreign espionage. Embezzlement of Congressional funds and then more espionage.
What’s he going to give up? They only worked for a members of Congress on the DNC side. The servers are gone, switched and who knows what else.
I would have tried, convicted then thrown the book at him — then make a plea deal of a reduced sentence.
It just smells like more rotten fish coming from the DNC.

HOW THE IT SCAM WAS RIGGED FOR PROFIT----Democrat NY Cong Yvette Clarke's office approved a $120,000 "write-off" of tax-paid tech Equipment Linked To the Awan clan (made the tax dollars and the equipment disappear).The missing govt-issue tax-paid devices included many iPhones and iPads. At $800 each, Cong Yvette Clarke's $120,000 write-off would force taxpayers to pay for 150 electronic items for her staff of 16......that's about 10 iPhones and iPads each.
Democrat Cong Yvette Clarke's tax-paid payroll records indicate she has 16 employees......why did Cong Clarke need so many electronics for that small staff? She was also oblivious to the fact that all that expensive govt-paid equipment she ordered was delivered to Imran's house.
According to ace reporting by the Daily Caller, Cong Clarke's office casually signed off on what appears to be a theft ring operating inside the Democrat Congressional Caucus then-headed by Cong Becerra.The facts suggest the Awan gang was running the oldest of scams......selling computer gear out the back door after first reporting it stolen to authorities. (hat tip The Daily Caller).
NOTE: Democrat Clarke is only one employer audited, so far. Patterns of theft in other Democrat offices have yet to be investigated.

They had been handing out amnesty for hilLIARy supporters like candy.

But once he's in, they need to put tax evasion on Awan and just landslide him with charges. Like "you'll never see freedom again" charges.
If they surprise him, then he'll talk.
Looks like they are going the other route - put him in The System for shock effect, then shake him down with more charges. It might work. But they better keep a close eye on that visit log.

On the other hand a plea deal can be a way to shut up a witness to crimes by those at a higher level.
Remember how it worked when Hillary’s aides were given immunity?

perhaps I read this in another story but His lawyer had said that the plea deal also meant no other charges will be brought forth.
Sessions seems to have embraced the corrupt swamp dwellers and is swimming with them, so don't hold your breath.
