Cabot Phillips of Campus Reform interviewed students at New York University to test the truth of a Gallup Poll showing a sharp decline in young Americans who are proud of their country. Sadly, the responses he received arent surprising.
Student after student made it clear: they were not.
No! Im not proud of America. Im not proud of what weve done, said one student, while another simply declared, definitely not.
One student, addressing the concept of American Exceptionalism, said I think we need to stop thinking were the best nation on Earth. Its just egotistical and not accurate. When asked which country is better than America, she responded, probably some nice little socialist country in Europe.
One student went so far as to say that patriotic views about America are nothing more than a tool to be used to get people to join the Army.
Hardened by their own discontent, these perpetual complainers have no love for those who fought and died so every man and woman can be in control of their own lives, take responsibility for their own successes and failures, and revel in the strange mix of anxiety and joy that comes from living a life of freedom.

There are flights leaving every day, snowflake.
These kids need to get out more. Drop them in any of the two-bit Third-World hellholes on this planet.
Then we get to treat border crashers like most other countries
That’s why I always carry Garden Shears.
Import millions of people from cultures unconnected to that of the USA and surprise, surprise.
probably some nice little socialist country in Europe.
oh, you mean where all the white people live.
Just pay your damned student LOANS or we will take your social security and tax refunds until you do and you may not file bankruptcy thank you.
Leave the country plox, you kind not wanted, kkthx.
This is the generation that’s going to be marching us retiring/retired baby boomers into the ovens in about 20 years, because we’ll be too inconvenient and expensive.
America is so great that even the people who hate it won’t leave.
They’re merely parroting the indoctrination by hard-Left anti-American teachers and professors who have infiltrated the educational system. They now dominate it, demanding “diversity” in everything but their own socialist/Communist profession.
“This is the generation thats going to be marching us retiring/retired baby boomers”
When they get to me, there will be roughly 40000 less of them.
Sad? If it wasn’t for the baby boomers this country would’ve folded long ago! The education system has poisoned the minds of these so-called snowflakes! They are so insulated , but once this truly magnificent country disintegrates they will be wishing for the good old days!
If I were an employer, and to determine their loyalty to the U.S., I’d have a series of questions for these little bastards to answer.
No passy, no worky.
Let these spoiled butt wipes live on their liberal tears.
These students have lived a life of luxury and wealth, every little thing they have desired, clothes on their back, food on the table, 24x7 Internet, drinkable water from any spigot anywhere, easy to get student loans that powerful people are fighting to get you excused from having to pay back, and so on.
These scummy little bags of crap have never seen real poverty, real oppression, real violence, real tyranny.
I am at a loss for words.
America, where even the poor people are fat.
