Bipartisan bill introduced to make Puerto Rico the 51st State

June 28 (UPI) -- A bipartisan bill introduced in Congress on Wednesday calls to make Puerto Rico a state by 2021.

The Puerto Rico Admission Act of 2018 was introduced by Republican Rep. Jenniffer González-Colón, a nonvoting members of Congress representing Puerto Rico and co-sponsored by 36 members of Congress, including 22 Republicans and 14 Democrats.

God help us if this happens. If they add Puerto Rico as a state, hopefully Texas or South Carolina or someplace conservative can secede.

So apparently, some in Congress is wanting another Democrat state in the election process. Not a good thing and probably not going to happen.

The average latino seems to love socialism, and accept state authority, corruption and control as a God-given fact of life.

González has served in leadership positions in the New Progressive Party of Puerto Rico and in the Republican Party of the United States.
