"Cotton-picken" mind is an expression that is used indiscriminately....My G-d, has Fox also gone loco?
Oh, puhleeeeeez!!!!!!!!!
Childish bullsh*t
“Cotton-pickin” is a common expression - used rather than profanity. It has no semblance to racism, except in the minds of those who wish it so - that would be your typical SWJ snowflake, or otherwise self-important mainstream media jackass.
FOX is always covering their a$$...It is not the same network it use to be..
The son’s running the show, are liberal, hateful Democrats with wives that are pulling their balls..JMO.
Alas, it would have been just fine had he said “you’re out of your F*****g mind!”
Ridiculous. We’ve teased my brother and called him Cotton during most of his youth due to his cotton blonde hair. One of my old great uncles called him “water moccasin” as a nickname for the same reason. I suppose we’re racist? Not.

...
It’s in the dictionary and not labelled as racist, but that will probably change.
Our good friends at Faux News sucking up to the left.
While Bossie should know better in the age of PC, this is absurd. In fact his use of the common term with another guest of color is the exact opposite of racism. Its a common, benign term. To direct it at only whites and not blacks would be race-based and racist in itself.
BUT DOES ANY ONE KNOW, if Marie Harf’s, and the gay dude, (forgot his name), is their RADIO show a failure or success? Not a word about it and both of them are on shows, especially the fake blond...she truly spoils OUTNUMBERED for this household...
Fox pushed that Radio show and now NOTHING...shaking my head.
Just wondering...
Dag nabbit.
What in tarnation!
I've used this phrase, and it is NOT racist, not offensive.
I am curious, crazy lefties seem to think only blacks picked cotton- which is far from the truth. They seem to also think the only task done by slaves was picking cotton which is why they are triggered by cotton. The thing is slaves did all sorts of work, even in agriculture there were many other crops, people didn’t eat cotton. Slaves had to do all sorts of work like cooking, cleaning, building things, you name it they did it so is all work going to become a trigger?
I am done with PC, I will say what I want when I want. When I was a kid old ladies especially were not hesitant to speak their mind about things, no matter who it offended. I used to wish I could just say whatever- well now is my time and I will be doing that.
For my first speaking my mind, I am tired of the whole slavery issue. There is no one alive today who legally owned a slave in the US. There is no one alive today who was legally held as a slave in the US. The truth is slavery is a horrible thing, but throughout history every race was held as slaves by people of other races and even people of their own race. We all have a history of being slaves if we go back far enough. The other truth is slavery continues to this day in this world- the funny thing is most are more concerned about black slavery that is in the past than slavery that is happening right now. Why is that?
Meanwhile, Shep, Whoraldo are walking around loose when they should be in straight jackets.
Planet of the Apes and picking cotton - insensitive dog whistle slurs
F*** You - just a respectful expression of honest disagreement and heartfelt emotion
As a child, I would tell my brother he was out of his ‘ever-lovin-cotton-pickin mind.’
Anyway, it never occurred to me that it’s a racist phrase — probably because I never realized that only black people ever picked cotton.
Good thing he didn’t ask if the guy had gone ape.
Country Boy at Heart, co written by Albert Lee
I may look like a city slicker,
Shinin’ up through his shoes.
Underneath I’m just a cotton picker,
Pickin’ out a mess of blues
Show me where I start.
Find a horse and cart.
I’m just a country boy,
Country boy at heart.
I may look like a bank teller,
Pushing facts in a file.
But I’d rather be a haul collar,
Shooing foot home in style.
Show me where I start.
Find a horse and cart.
I’m just a country boy,
Country boy at heart.
