What kind of business owner “consults her staff” to decide if they want to throw someone out?
Before they attempt to reopen, the health department should give them a thorough inspection as they have a record of “critical” and “priority” violations. Unapproved/inspected food and sources, mixing cooked and uncooked foods, and potentially old undated foods. Wonder what it looks like today?

I've worked in restaurants. They best management comparison I can think of is the Royal Navy of the 18th century. Rum, sodomy and the lash. You do NOT follow the whining of employees, especially the gay ones, who seem to be over-represented in the restaurant industry. You tell them to do their job - or leave immediately.
Of course, the stupid owner shared their beliefs.
