On behalf of my hometown of Lexington, I want to apologize for the rudeness of one liberal New York transplant (who also happens to be Meryl Streep's cousin). We hope you will come back and enjoy our area's true southern hospitality.

I earlier posted a list of 21 business owners that are/were in a business group that she leads, Main Stream Lexington. Got one email from a guy saying he was no longer member of that group. Bet others bail as well.

Virtually all New York “transplants” behave like this woman. The decent New Yorkers stay in their state trying to clean it up.
Supposedly people have been protesting by calling up and making reservations and then not showing up.

Ooh, the Red Hen has been cited for hazardous food violations. I’m sure there will be plenty of reports of more hazardous food, enough to shut them down permanently! Bad food, bad staff, bad restaurant.
If anyone has a few hundred extra bucks, it would be a great time to invite 20 or so of your favorite homeless people for a meal at the Red Hen. The smellier and nastier, the better - best yet if they are mentally ill or incontinent. Be sure to arrange for video and photos, as we know the owner would never turn away anyone “on moral grounds” who just wants a meal.
