No, they don't. They did, but it's gone. As usual, the liberals' genetic inclination to overplay their hand has blown up in their faces.
1) Massively over-the-top foaming at the mouth nonsense has people burned out on the outrage.
2) "Time" really stepped in it with their completely dishonest, now-thoroughly debunked "Welcome to America" cover.
3) Trump signing the EO (an act I'm still doubtful as to its actual legality, but we're here now) that removed the primary "I so sad" factor from the screamers.
This one is done. It was meant to distract from the IG report, which it did, but I get the feeling that it was meant to be more than that--an October surprise to put the GOP candidates on the defensive. Now the outrage is spent, normal people are wondering why we're supposed to be so upset about this to begin with ("why are they even coming here?"), and the Dems are really stuck.
Especially the equating of the kids holding facilities with konzentration lageren. My confidence in the "news" media has never been higher!
The October Surprise will be a Trump operation. The left has been throwing out so many “surprises” that the effect is ho hum as hell. They can’t do much of anything to be more attention getting than they do every day. Perhaps a shooting attack on the WhiteHouse with a thousand Youts would do it but the result would cement DJT in place and cost the Democrats big in the midterm. They have run out of ooptions. You scream “THE END ID NEAR !” from too many street corners and housetops and no one even notices the words any more. It is just noise and annoying.
You could be right. This was supposed to be an "October Surprise", but someone, perhaps someone in the FBI(?), decided they need cover *now*, and they had to drop their "surprise" early. Much like during the election, the whole "pussy gate" was supposed to be an October Surprise, but again, the DNC/FBI had to drop their load prematurely because the Weiner / Clinton emails were surfacing as an issue.
