The expected announcement Thursday at Orlando International Airport alarms some privacy advocates who say there are no formal rules in place for handling data gleaned from the scans, nor formal guidelines on what should happen if a passenger is wrongly prevented from boarding. Airports in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and Washington already use face scans for some departing international flights,

Well, good. Now if we can just tie in the facial recognition scans with a DNA database, it will make it awfully hard to squirm out of sticky situations for some folks.

O Brave New World, how we welcome thee!

There will be virtually no place to hide from the NWO and its Antichrist for the Tribulation Saints.

You WILL conform to the NWO group-think values.

Or else, we’ll cut your head off. For your own good.

We’re going to take away things for your own good - Hillary Rodham Clinton (paraphrased)

My God, you survived that terrifying experience and lived to tell the tale? Just kidding of course. But some FReepers seem to equate such procedures with evil Stasi measures.

How much is this even necessary when the domestic terrorist attacks we’ve seen have been known wolf assassins?

It’s the whole slippery slope argument. How far will they take this technology? What else will it be used for besides airport security? That’s where people are concerned.

It is being done at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry in San Diego. People can be tracked as they come into the country and as they leave the country. People at the that port can be tracked like FedEx packages. We need that at all U.S. ports of entry.

== = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Amazing isn’t it??

These are basically the same people that want to ask their phone where the cheapest gas or nearest pizza place is BUT complain they are being ‘spied upon’ when the phone lets you know where you have been the last couple of days.

Remember the ‘uprise’ a few years back about depositing your paycheck and ‘raising hell’ about it taking 3 days to clear.

Well, the banks and the government did something about it and in the process that check you wrote yesterday and hoping to cover it in a few days started bouncing because the banks started processing EVERYTHING overnight, not just your paycheck.

Like they say, be careful what you wish for as the unintended consequences may not suit your liking....
