NEW YORK — In its extensive report on the Hillary Clinton email probe, the Justice Department’s internal watchdog raised significant questions about why the FBI did not examine the contents of Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s private email accounts and did not seek to obtain Abedin’s personal devices to determine whether classified information was exchanged.
The report noted Abedin should have been a point of interest since the FBI obtained from other sources classified email exchanges between Clinton and Abedin that were missing from the 30,490 emails turned over to the State Department by Clinton’s attorneys. Clinton had claimed the remaining emails were not work-related.
Also, the report documented that the FBI did not go after Abedin’s emails or devices even though she was “the only State Department employee, besides Clinton, with an account on the clintonemail.com domain on Clinton’s server.”

Grassley conjectured that Huma was being compensated for gathering information for Doug Band’s outfit, Teneo, from US government sources for the purpose of informing investment decisions of her consulting clients - or in other words, political intelligence.
GRASSLEY: “This raises important questions about whether Abedin’s dual job role was adequately disclosed to US government officials who may have provided her information without realizing that she was being paid by private investors to gather information.”—SNIP—

NOTE WELL-—There is a law that applies to this situation. U.S. Code 2381 says: “Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”
The Obama modus operandi was to ask for little, to get less, and then to declare the United States a winner.

His administration set records for major, costly regulations that stymie business and reduce your freedoms even if some do some good. His Clean Power Plan would have dictated to states that they had to get rid of certain laws.
Due process died. Obama’s education department told colleges and universities they must abandon due process for any male accused of sexual harassment. He granted legal status to illegal immigrants after saying some 20 times it would be unconstitutional to do so. He unilaterally rewrote laws. He refused to enforce others.
Obama also skipped the constitutional requirement of having the Senate vote on treaties, thereby making them mere executive orders that Trump could reverse, and fortunately has in the case of Iran.......an enriched Iran is still pursuing nuclear armament and Middle East hegemony.
Obama actually spied on reporters.....threatening them with jail if they did not reveal sources. He set a record in refusing to release government information requested by citizens........
Obfuscation, lying and spying were Obama’s fave tools.
Obama AND The Clinton Foundation were all on Hillary’s party line.

After all, he would show up as one of the colluders.

I think Clinton’s email investigation was bungled to NOT get a prosecution, or to get a mistrial.
While the Muh, Russia (Trump) investigation was to be done “by the book.”

Grassley: In the FBI's response to the Inspector General's report, the FBI said "there is no indication that any classified material ever transited Mr. Comey, Mr. Page's or Mr. Strock's personal devices or accounts." But I thought neither the FBI nor the Inspector General actually looked at their personal devices. I sent a letter to you, Director Wray, this morning on this topic, but I wanted to ask you, how can the FBI conclude no classified material was on their personal devices if you didn't even look at their devices?Wray: Mr. Chairman, first as to your letter, I haven't obviously seen your letter of today but I'll be happy to take a look at it and make sure we're being responsive to you on that. On the second part of your question and the words in our response to the Inspector General's report, I don't think we're attempting to charactize some independent investigation of our own but rather to refer to the language in the Inspector General's report and to clarify that the findings that we're reacting to did not themselves identify any passage of classified information.
