I’m waiting for RObert DeNiro’s measured and thoughtful response before I develop my opinion.
Even Fox News this morning was bemoaning the “optics” of those 2014 oblowme error cage pics. I about wanted to scream!
No, these “kids” are not being tortured by Donald Trump. They’ve been handed over to coyotes by their OWN PARENTS.
I have less than zero sympathy for someone who who do that to their kids. And the babies crying video and pics make me care even less. It’s all for show.
The "optics" are meant to deceive, otherwise they would balance them with photos of children playing, getting fed for the first time, getting cleaned up, learning, reading etc.
FOX, to their credit, did show some of the accomodations as well, earlier this morning, that weren’t as “cage”-like as the initial holding areas.
As an aside, what in the world is with all the aluminum foil-like stuff some of those people were covered up with?

PRECISELY! Out of 12,000 illegal youth from Central America being detained in these centers....10,000 were brought to our border by coyotes the parents paid off or will be paying off on the installment plan.
