That’s strange, I have been looking at vacation rental websites and a lot of rentals seem to be in multi-story condos, which I think would have HOAs. I’d prefer a condo in a high rise, just for the security since I wouldn’t be there all the time.
This is a very recent ruling. But as long as the HOA allows it, it’s okay. You just got to make sure your condo is one of those before you jump in.
LOL
I doubt if you’ll see them again...
Great ideas such as yours get lost in our unending succession of lousy governments. There’s no continuity here for most things.
Good one!
And you’re right.
The anti-P.R. haters are always ready to bash and insult and diminish.
I’m just waiting for that one special person who always brings out his low-IQ mantra against Puerto Ricans.
FReepers may be great people, on the whole, but, there are those that shouldn’t be allowed within the general population, especially within the good people of FR.
The old song went;
How ya gonna keep ‘em down on the farm
After they’ve seen Pariee?
Now it’s
How ya gonna get ‘em back to the dump
After they’ve seen Disney
What has the governor done to improve the conditions on the island? It doesnt seem like hes done much.
Thanks for the advice. One last question, how is the mayor of San Jose doing? Is she actually in trouble over how she handled the hurricane, or will she skate?
I think my son now living near San Juan has done something like that. He was contracted along with some workers he supervised to renovate a 100+ unit condo building which has mostly been sold to mainlanders who live there full or part time. He continues to provide maintenance and after Maria was asked to go empty refrigerators in unoccupied units that had been without electricity for 2 weeks. He said the stench was awful and there was no more baking soda to deodorize left for sale anywhere on the island.
Most of the larger concrete buildings survived the storm, but smaller homes were more likely to be severely damaged. As others have said, local corruption can be a significant problem. I must talk with my son about that aspect of the situation, at least in his area.
