95% 0f all Marines are Conservatives. The ones that aren’t are usually, but not always, officers. Like Former US Rep (D,PA.) Murtha, Mueller has earned the title “X” Marine, which is, among Former Marines, the ultimate insult.
Friends no longer in the Corps consider themselves retired.
Disgraced murtha and mueller are former or ex.

I think Charlie “The Red” Rangel and Obama’s ‘reverend’ Jeremiah “G-D America” Wright were also in the Marines. Rangel was good buddies with Fidel Castro. Gave him a big bearhug when he visted his Harlem NY community some years ago.
