It would be a mistake for President Trump to let his fate be decided by a judge.

I agree and let Mueller go to court for the subpoena.

1. Mueller will have to defend the constutional creation of the special counsel because his U.S. attorneys have not been confirmed by the Senate.
2. He will also need to have grounds for a presidential subpoena in which the president is not a target. Again, there is specific constitutional protection for the chief executive here.

Perhaps Guilani us trying to push Mueller into overplaying his hand. Such a move would not look good politically, much like the raid on Micheal Cohen.

“The court has no choice but to grant it.”

Great!

Then the Courts and Mueller can enforce it.

From the article:I thought it was established that everyone going into the meeting thought it was about receiving info on Killary but that the actual meeting was about adopting Russian children. Any ideas?

Its time for this to end so that president Trump, who by any fair account has turned out to be very good at being the president can get about the business of making America great again not distracted by the made up scandal wanna be lame as coup Obama and his mental giants cooked up.

Seriously this is garbage the country voted for Mr. Trump to be president - he needs to be allowed to do his job. None of the problems that have been facing this nation for decades have his finger prints on them. He is not bought by anyone so the projecting progressives need to cast him as a Putin puppet because they must make him fit to how they are bought and paid for members of the deep state uni-party elitist pervert clique.

I'm fed up with this sore loser crap enough is enough fire Rosenstein, Sessions and Mueller and do it loudly because they suck and need some shaming.

I agree with your comment. IGNORE AND NULLIFY unconstitutional federal acts.

but when will Giuliani and Trump’s team of advisers start addressing the lack of constitutional support of this WHOLE “Special Counsel” position and procedure??? Trump should publicize the lack of constitutional support for this “Special Counsel” and at some point FIRE the guy.

Trump’s advisors seem to be tone deaf to the Constitution - they got that deafness from law school. Trump needs advisors who have learned that the Constitution is to be applied AS WRITTEN AND ORIGINALLY UNDERSTOOD AND INTENDED. The Constitution is NOT what the Supreme Court says it is just because it’s the Supreme Court that says it.

AND Trump’s advisors need to get it straight that the Supreme Court does not constitutionally make national law. It’s scope of power reaches only to the parties of the individual case or controversy (U.S. Const., Art III, Sec 2, Cl. 1). Congress has the “SOLE” power to make national law (Id., Art I, Sec 1).

The Supreme Court has been allowed to become an utterly unconstitutional oligarchy. Time to STOP THE NONSENSE!

DAG Rosenstien and FBI Director Way ignore subpoenas all the time. As does AG Sessions. If they can certainly President Trump can too.

This is not a legal issue.

It’s a political issue.

And that’s sound political advice, whether you can see it or not.

“Any ideas? “

POTUS is untouchable on this. And all other accusations to date.

The ONLY two authorities over a sitting POTUS are:

1. The American People when/if he stands for reelection
2. Congress upon Impeachment and Conviction

Other than that every sitting POTUS is above the law, literally and by design.

Impeachment is not a legal procedure, it is a political process.

Trump has few friends in congress that would like him to stay.

There is a reason NO ONE but you has recommended disobeying court rulings as a strategy for success. Now why is that? I guess it is possible that everyone is wrong but you. But somehow I doubt that is the correct reason.

Court, schmort!

Bring in one, maybe two squads of Marines in full battle gear to the White House.

Let someone try to break through to serve a subpoena.

Seems there a few big minds who disagree with you.

Oh, and trump is no more impeachable than Obama was.

NO REPUBLICAN can be elected to any office if they support impeachment, much less vote for it.

And any Democrat in a swing state or district who supports it is certain to lose.

Aye, impeachment is a purely political act. And Congress can impeach a POTUS for farting in church, provided they have the political will to do so.

The moment he let a renegade judge usurp his power in border enforcement he opened the door.

That one was a biggie and invited all the other Fake Judges to pipe in. I said at the time he should have just told the Judge to take it to the Supreme court because he wasn't going accept their authority to make that ruling. The constitution quoters here became the hand wringers. The Constitution got us into this mess because we are no longer a people capable of being constitutionally ruled.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the governance of any other ."

The Supreme Court has been allowed to become an utterly unconstitutional oligarchy.

Even worse they have allowed District Judges the same power and it only takes one of them.

Maybe because they have their collective lawyerly heads up their arse. I said it from day one. The President does not have to obey unlawful court orders.
