It’s safe to say we know what Mitt Romney will be like as a US Senator.
He’s a #NeverTrumper to the core.
On Tuesday Mitt Romney went on NBC to slam Republican President Donald Trump.
The Washington Times reported:
Mitt Romney said Tuesday that President Trump is not the role model he would want for his grandchildren.
“I don’t think I would point to the president as a role model for my grandkids on the basis of his personal style. He has departed in some cases from the truth, and has attacked in a way that I think is not entirely appropriate,” Mr. Romney said to NBC News.

Lincoln frequently told bawdy, salacious and racist jokes. Thank goodness he didn’t have a Twitter account.
What truth has he departed from? It’s too bad that liberals and other Trump haters can’t back up their accusations with actual details. But liberals and other Trump haters don’t seem to even want details themselves. What does looking before you judge make a person?
Is Mitt considering a 2020 run?

2 Young representatives from the LDS pulled in my driveway the other day and a rather newish Chevrolet Malibu got out, came to the door, ring the doorbell. I answered, they told me they were from the church of the Latter Day Saints and blah biddy blah blah... I asked them why they were canvassing the neighborhood in a car as I thought that Mormon missionaries rode around on bicycles and hoofed it. They responded that they drove because of the distance involved and they could finish the neighborhood quickly. I asked for some ID, they produced a driver’s license, I said that’s not proof enough that you are from the LDS Church now get your car off of my property and don’t come back.
I seriously doubt they’ll be back, they probably thought I was drunk, but I’m not a drinkin’ man.
Like Hillary, Mitt doesn’t “connect” with real people.
That was conventional wisdom at the time. You’d have searched in vain to find a politician above the dog catcher level who would’ve said different.
It looked like a cross between a Muslim and a loaf pinched by a chimp from the Planet of the Apes...
Mormons, from what I have seen, seem to harbor a particular animus toward Trump.
The day Romney went on tv and attacked Trump in a big long speech is the day I was inspired to go vote early for Trump. Some people who I knew were not Trump voters were disgusted with what Romney did. He had a lot of nerve going and begging for a job with Trump after that.
Mitt Romney is Dark Flake.
